1. Einleitung

3. Packungsinhalt

Notiz: Fluorescent T8 bulbs, mounting hardware (screws/anchors), and wire nuts are NOT included and must be purchased separately.

5. Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation. Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding.

5.1. Vorbereitung

• Schalten Sie den Strom am Leistungsschalter oder Sicherungskasten ab.
• Gather necessary tools: screwdrivers, wire strippers, drill, appropriate mounting hardware (screws/anchors), and wire nuts (all not included).

5.2. Montage der Vorrichtung

• Determine the desired mounting location on the ceiling for surface mounting or identify points for stem mounting.
• For surface mounting, align the fixture and mark the drilling points for securing it to the ceiling joists or using appropriate anchors.
• For stem mounting, the fixture requires a minimum of two single stem hangers (not included).
• Secure the fixture firmly to the mounting surface using the appropriate hardware. Note that the wire entry tabs are located on the top of the fixture, requiring access from above for wiring.

5.3. Verkabelung

• Route the electrical supply wires into the fixture's wiring compartment.
• Connect the supply wires to the fixture's pre-wired connections using wire nuts (not included). Ensure proper polarity (live to live, neutral to neutral, ground to ground).
• The fixture may feature push-lok connectors for simplified wiring. Ensure wires are fully inserted and secure.
• Carefully tuck all wires into the wiring compartment and secure any covers.

5.4. Installation der Glühbirne

• Install two T8 fluorescent bulbs (not included) into the lamp holders by aligning the pins with the sockets and twisting gently until secure.

5.5. Diffusorinstallation

• Attach the prismatic acrylic diffuser to the fixture. The hinged design allows it to snap into place or be secured with latches.

6. Bedienung

Once installation is complete and verified, restore power to the circuit. The fixture will illuminate immediately upon activation of the wall switch, thanks to its instant-on electronic ballast, which prevents flickering and humming.

7.1. Reinigung

• Trennen Sie vor der Reinigung immer die Stromversorgung.

• Clean the diffuser and the exterior surfaces of the fixture with a soft, damp Tuch.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or acrylic diffuser.

7.2. Austausch der Glühbirne

• Vor dem Auswechseln von Glühbirnen immer die Stromzufuhr unterbrechen.
• Open the hinged diffuser to access the bulbs.
• Carefully remove the old T8 fluorescent bulbs by twisting them to disengage from the sockets.
• Insert new T8 fluorescent bulbs, ensuring the pins are properly aligned with the sockets, and twist gently until secure.
• Close the diffuser securely.
