Setup und Installation

Installationsschritte:

1. Carefully unpack the unit and inspect for any damage.
2. Position the housing (8¼" x 8" x 5¾") in the desired ceiling location, utilizing the provided mounting flange for secure attachment.
3. Connect the 4-inch diameter ductwork to the fan's duct connector.
4. Perform electrical wiring connections according to local codes. The unit operates on 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 1.6 A. Ensure a GFCI protected branch circuit if installing over a tub or shower.
5. Install one (1) 100W maximum A19 incandescent bulb (not included) into the lamp Buchse.
6. Attach the white polymeric grille (12" x 10¾") and translucent white polymeric lens to the housing.
7. Restore power at the service panel and test the fan and light functions.

Bedienungsanleitung

The Nutone 763N Ventilation Fan with Light is designed for straightforward operation. The fan and light functions can be controlled independently or simultaneously, depending on your wiring setup and switch configuration.

• Lüfterbetrieb: Activate the fan using the designated wall switch. The fan will begin to draw air, removing moisture and odors from the room.
• Leichter Betrieb: Activate the light using its dedicated wall switch. The incandescent bulb will provide illumination through the diffused lens.
• Combined Operation: If wired to a single switch or a dual-function switch, both the fan and light can be turned on or off together.

For optimal performance, it is recommended to operate the fan during and after activities that generate moisture, such as showering, to prevent humidity buildup and potential mildew growth.

Wartung

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your Nutone 763N unit. Always disconnect power at the service panel before performing any maintenance.

Cleaning the Grille and Lens:

• Gently pull down the grille to detach it from the housing.
• Remove the translucent lens.
• Wash the grille and lens with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.

Cleaning the Blower Wheel:

• With the grille removed, carefully wipe down the one-piece molded polymeric blower wheel with a damp Tuch.
