3. Einrichtung

Follow these steps to connect your Valeton Surge EP-1 pedal to your instrument and ampReiniger:

  1. Stromanschluss: Connect a standard 9V DC power adapter (center negative, 300mA minimum) to the DC 9V input jack on the side of the pedal. The pedal can also be battery powered.

  3. Instrumenteneingang: Connect your instrument (e.g., guitar) to the 1/4-inch INPUT jack on the side of the pedal using a standard instrument cable.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

The Valeton Surge EP-1 offers two primary modes: Wah and Volume. Switching between these modes is achieved using the integrated footswitch.

  • Moduswechsel: To switch between Wah mode and Volume mode, firmly press down on the pedal's toe end until you hear a click. The LED indicator will change color to show the active mode:
    • Rote LED: Indicates Wah mode is active.
    • Grüne LED: Indicates Volume mode is active.

  • Wah Mode: In Wah mode (Red LED), rock the pedal back and forth with your foot to control the wah effect, sweeping through the frequency range.
