4. Einrichtung und Installation

This product is designed for DIY installation, but electrical connections should be made by a qualified professional.

4.1 Checkliste vor der Installation

• Ensure the ceiling space has a minimum clearance of 100mm above the unit for proper ventilation.
• The fan requires a cut-out size of Ø290mm. Use the provided cut-out template.
• Prüfen Sie, ob die Stromversorgung 220-240 V beträgt.
• Confirm the installation location is suitable for a bathroom, ensuite, or laundry room.

4.2 Installationsschritte

1. Stromversorgung trennen: Vor Beginn jeglicher Elektroarbeiten muss die Stromzufuhr am Hauptsicherungskasten unterbrochen werden.
2. Eröffnung vorbereiten: Using the provided cut-out template, mark and cut a Ø290mm hole in the ceiling.
3. Position Lüfter: Insert the fan unit into the prepared ceiling opening. Ensure it is securely seated. The maximum height of the unit is 154mm, with 128mm above the ceiling.
4. Elektrischer Anschluss: Connect the fan's cord to the main power supply. This step muss be performed by a qualified electrician. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
5. Sichere Einheit: Use appropriate fasteners (not supplied) to secure the fan housing to the ceiling joists or framing.
6. Grill anbringen: Once the fan is securely installed and wired, attach the removable grille by aligning it with the fan housing and snapping it into place.
7. Strom wiederherstellen: Sobald die Installation abgeschlossen und alle Verbindungen überprüft sind, schalten Sie die Stromversorgung am Hauptschalter wieder ein.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

The Heller exhaust fan is designed for simple operation.

• Ein-/Ausschalten: The fan and LED light are typically controlled by a standard wall switch connected during installation. Flip the switch to turn the unit on or off.
• Belüftung: Allow the fan to operate for a sufficient period after showering or bathing to effectively remove moisture and odors from the room.
• LED-Licht: The integrated 8W LED light provides energy-efficient illumination (up to 6000K). It operates concurrently with the fan.

6. Wartung

Regular cleaning will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your exhaust fan.

6.1 Cleaning the Grille and Fan Blades

1. Stromversorgung trennen: Vor der Reinigung muss die Stromzufuhr zum Ventilator am Sicherungskasten unterbrochen werden.
2. Gitter entfernen: Gently pull down or unclip the removable grille from the fan housing.
3. Sauberer Kühlergrill: Reinigen Sie den Grillrost mit milder Seife und Wasser. Spülen Sie ihn gründlich ab und lassen Sie ihn vollständig trocknen, bevor Sie ihn wieder anbringen.
