5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 Datenübertragungsmodus

Once the Quickport is connected to your computer and powered on, the inserted drives will appear as external storage devices. You can then drag and drop files, backup data, or perform any other disk operations as you would with any other external drive.

  • Der Power LED will illuminate when the device is powered on.
  • Der HDD1/HDD2 LEDs will light up when a drive is detected in the corresponding bay and will blink during data activity.

5.2 Offline-Klonfunktion

The offline cloning function allows you to duplicate the contents of a source drive (HDD1) to a target drive (HDD2) without requiring a computer connection. This is useful for creating exact copies of drives.

Important: The target drive (HDD2) must be equal to or larger in capacity than the source drive (HDD1). All data on the target drive will be overwritten during the cloning process.

  1. Ensure the Quickport is powered off and disconnected from your computer.
  2. Legen Sie den Quelllaufwerk in die HDD1 bay.
  3. Legen Sie den Ziellaufwerk in die HDD2 bay.
  4. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Ziellaufwerk über ausreichende Kapazität verfügt (mindestens gleich der Kapazität des Quelllaufwerks).
  5. Halten Sie die Klontaste for approximately 3-5 seconds until the 25% progress LED beginnt zu blinken.
  6. Release the Clone button, then quickly press it again to confirm and start the cloning process.
  7. The progress LEDs (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) will illuminate sequentially to indicate the cloning progress.
  8. Once the 100% LED is solid, the cloning process is complete.
  9. Power off the Quickport before removing the drives.

7. Fehlerbehebung

  • Drives not recognized or unstable operation:
Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and providing sufficient power. Some high-capacity or performance drives may require a robust power supply. Verify that the included 12V/3A power adapter is functioning correctly. If issues persist, try a different power outlet or, if available, a compatible power adapter with higher amperage (e.g., 12V/5A) to rule out power delivery issues.
  • Langsame Datenübertragungsgeschwindigkeiten:
Ensure you are using the provided USB 3.1 cables and connecting to a USB 3.1 Gen 2 compatible port on your computer. Older USB ports (e.g., USB 2.0) will result in significantly slower speeds. Check the quality of the USB cables; sometimes, lower quality cables can impact performance.
  • Offline-Klonen schlägt fehl:
Confirm that the target drive (HDD2) has a capacity equal to or greater than the source drive (HDD1). Ensure both drives are securely inserted into their respective bays. Follow the cloning procedure precisely, including the double-press of the clone button.
  • LED-Anzeigen funktionieren nicht:
Check the power connection and ensure the device is switched on. If a drive is inserted, ensure it is properly seated.
