1. Einleitung

Thank you for choosing the Rossmax Swiss Design X5 Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor. This device is designed for accurate and reliable measurement of blood pressure and pulse rate at home. It incorporates advanced PARR (Pulse Arrhythmia) technology for early detection of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), Premature Contraction (PC), Tachycardia, and Bradycardia during regular blood pressure checks. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize the benefits of this device.

4. Einrichtung

4.1 Einlegen der Batterie

1. Open the battery cover on the back of the unit.
2. Insert four (4) AA size batteries according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.
3. Schließen Sie die Batterieabdeckung fest.

Notiz: The device can also be powered by an optional AC adaptor (not included).

4.2 Manschettenanschluss

Insert the air plug of the cuff firmly into the air jack on the left side of the monitor. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leakage during measurement.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 Vor der Messung

• Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, and exercising for at least 30 minutes before measurement.
• Ruhen Sie sich mindestens 5 Minuten aus, bevor Sie eine Messung durchführen.
• Sitzen Sie aufrecht, mit gestütztem Rücken und flach auf dem Boden stehenden Füßen.
• Legen Sie Ihren Arm so auf einen Tisch, dass sich die Manschette auf Herzhöhe befindet.
• Ensure the cuff is applied directly to your bare arm, not over clothing.

5.2 Anlegen der Manschette

1. Slide the end of the cuff through the metal ring to form a loop. The smooth cloth should be on the inside of the cuff loop.
2. Place the cuff on your left upper arm so that the air tube runs down the inside of your arm.
3. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above your elbow.
4. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose.

5.3 Messung durchführen

1. Drücken Sie die Leistung Drücken Sie die Taste, um den Monitor einzuschalten.

3. Once the measurement is complete, the monitor will display your Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA) blood pressure, and Pulse rate.
4. The display will also show indicators for PARR technology (ARR/AFib/PC) if detected.
5. Die Messung wird automatisch im Speicher des Geräts gespeichert.
6. The device will auto-shut-off approximately 1 minute after the last key operation.

5.4 Anzeigeindikatoren verstehen

• System: Systolic blood pressure (upper value).
• DIA: Diastolic blood pressure (lower value).
• PULSE /min: Your pulse rate in beats per minute.
• ARR: Arrhythmia detection.
• AFib: Atrial Fibrillation detection.
• PC: Premature Contraction detection.
• M: Memory indicator. The device stores 60 memories for each of two zones.

6. Wartung

6.1 Reinigung

• Reinigen Sie Monitor und Manschette mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch.
• Verwenden Sie keine Scheuermittel und tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser ein.

6.2 Speicherung

• Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem kühlen, trockenen Ort auf, schützen Sie es vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und extremen Temperaturen.
• Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, sollten die Batterien entfernt werden, um ein Auslaufen zu verhindern.
