4.1. Türkompatibilitätsprüfung

Vor dem Einbau stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass Ihre Tür die folgenden Spezifikationen erfüllt:

• Türstärke: 1-3/8" bis 2" (35 mm bis 50 mm)
• Cross-Bore Hole Diameter: 2-1/8" (54 mm)
• Edge-Bore Hole Diameter: 1" (25 mm)
• Dornmaß: Adjustable for 2-3/8" (60mm) or 2-3/4" (70mm)

4.2. Installationsschritte

1. Vorhandenes Schloss entfernen: Carefully remove any existing deadbolt hardware from your door.
2. Adjust Deadbolt: Measure your door's backset. If it's 2-3/8", adjust the deadbolt length accordingly. The deadbolt ships default for 2-3/4". Ensure the deadbolt slot aligns to the center of the door hole and the slot is in the vertical position.
3. Deadbolt installieren: Insert the deadbolt into the door edge and secure it with the provided screws.
4. Prepare Exterior Assembly: If drilling a new hole for added stability, refer to the template. Otherwise, peel off the adhesive backing on the exterior assembly for temporary stabilization during installation.
5. Außenbaugruppe installieren: Ensure the torque blade is in the vertical position. Place the exterior assembly on the door, guiding the torque blade through the deadbolt slot and the connection cables through the cross-bore hole. Secure until flush with the door surface.
6. Montage der inneren Montageplatte: Peel off the adhesive backing from the interior mounting plate. Align and secure the mounting plate to the door, guiding the connection cable through the lower left notched hole. Insert and hand-tighten the two screws (G) located on the left and right of the blade. Check alignment and tighten with a screwdriver.
7. Kabel anschließen: Plug the cable coming through the mounting plate into the interior assembly. Ensure the plug is oriented correctly, matching the red side of the plug to the red side of the socket on the interior assembly. Tuck the cable under the eyelet hooks and route it to the right on the interior assembly.
8. Innenbaugruppe installieren: Ensure the thumb turn is vertical. Place the interior assembly against the mounting plate, making sure the torque blade is inserted into the thumb turn shaft. Secure the interior assembly to the mounting plate with the two screws (I).
9. Batterien installieren: With the door open and the deadbolt fully extended, insert three AA batteries. Press and hold the Program button, then insert the fourth battery. The lock will automatically start a self-check. Release the Program button once the check starts.
10. Testsperre: Manually lock and unlock the door using the thumb turn on the interior assembly to ensure smooth operation without binding or rubbing. Leave the deadbolt extended and remove the key.
11. Install Battery Cover: Install the battery cover (H) and secure it with the screw on top.
