4. Installation

The CHILITEC MILOS socket outlet is designed for screw-mounted installation and fits standard 60/68mm flush-mounted wall boxes. It supports both horizontal and vertical mounting.

1. Vorbereitung: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is completely disconnected at the main circuit breaker. Verify with a voltage Tester.

2. Montageort: Choose a suitable location for the socket, considering its IP44 rating for indoor or outdoor use. Ensure the surface is flat and stable.

3. Verdrahtung: Carefully connect the electrical wires (Live, Neutral, Earth) to the corresponding terminals on the back of the socket. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated. Refer to local electrical codes for correct wiring procedures.

1. Opening the Protective Cover: To use the socket, gently lift the hinged protective cover. This cover is designed to protect the socket from dust and splashing water when not in use.

2. Plugging in a Device: Insert the plug of your electrical device into the socket. Ensure the plug is fully inserted.

3. Closing the Protective Cover: When the socket is not in use, or when a plug is inserted and the environment requires IP44 protection, ensure the protective cover is closed over the plug or the empty socket. This maintains the IP44 rating.
