1. Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise

Read all instructions carefully before assembling and using the ABC Design Genua baby stroller. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death to your child.

• Lassen Sie Ihr Kind niemals unbeaufsichtigt im Kinderwagen.
• Benutzen Sie immer die 5-Punkt-Gurtsystem to secure your child.
• Ensure all locking devices are engaged before placing a child in the stroller.

• Do not hang bags or other items on the handle, as this can cause the stroller to become unstable.

3. Aufbau und Montage

3.1 Aufklappen des Kinderwagens

1. Stellen Sie den zusammengeklappten Kinderwagen auf eine ebene Fläche.
2. Locate the folding latch, usually on the side of the frame. Release the latch.
3. Lift the handlebar upwards until the frame fully extends and locks into place. You should hear an audible "click" indicating that the frame is securely locked.
4. Stellen Sie vor der Verwendung sicher, dass alle Verriegelungsmechanismen eingerastet sind.

3.2 Anbringen des Baldachins

The canopy typically attaches to designated points on the stroller frame near the handlebar. Secure the canopy clips or snaps firmly to the frame until they are locked in place.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

4.1 Securing Your Child (5-Point Harness)

1. Setzen Sie Ihr Kind in den Sitz.
2. Legen Sie die Schultergurte über die Schultern Ihres Kindes und die Hüftgurte um seine Taille.
3. Insert the two buckle prongs (shoulder and waist straps) into the central buckle until they click securely.
4. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug fit without being too tight. The harness should be adjusted so that you can fit one finger between the strap and your child's body.

4.2 Einstellen des Baldachins

The canopy can be extended or retracted by pushing or pulling it along its frame. Adjust it to provide optimal shade and protection for your child.

4.3 Engaging and Releasing Brakes

The ABC Design Genua stroller is equipped with a foot-operated brake system, typically located on the rear wheels. To engage the brakes, press down firmly on the brake lever(s) until the stroller is stationary. To release, lift the lever(s) upwards. Always engage the brakes when the stroller is parked.

4.4 Zusammenklappen des Kinderwagens

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Kind aus dem Kinderwagen genommen wird.
2. Ziehen Sie die Bremsen an.
3. Retract the canopy.
4. Locate the folding mechanisms (often levers or buttons on the handlebar or frame). Activate these mechanisms simultaneously.
5. Push the handlebar downwards and forwards, allowing the stroller frame to collapse.
6. Secure the folding latch to keep the stroller in its compact, folded position.

5. Wartung

5.1 Reinigung

• Stoffteile: Fleckenentfernung mit Anzeigeamp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Allow to air dry completely.
• Rahmen: Wischen Sie den Aluminiumrahmen mit einem weichen, fusselfreien Tuch ab.amp Tuch. Gründlich trocknen lassen, um Rost zu vermeiden.
• Räder: Clean wheels regularly to remove dirt and debris.

5.2 Schmierung

Periodically apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts such as wheel axles and folding mechanisms to ensure smooth operation. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract dirt.

5.3 Speicherung

Store the stroller in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is clean and dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.

6. Fehlerbehebung

• Kinderwagen lässt sich nicht reibungslos auf- und zusammenklappen: Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism. Ensure all latches are released before unfolding and engaged after folding. Lubricate moving parts if necessary.
• Quietschende Räder: Clean the wheels and axles to remove dirt. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the axles.
• Harness not securing: Ensure the buckle prongs are fully inserted into the central buckle. Adjust straps for a snug fit.
