This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your Richmond RMTEX-27 Essential Tankless Electric Water Heater. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use, and retain it for future reference.
The Richmond RMTEX-27 is designed to provide on-demand, continuous hot water. It features a compact design, digital temperature control from 80°F to 140°F, and 99.8% energy efficiency. Robust copper immersion heating elements with brass tops are threaded for easy replacement.

Setup und Installation

Standortanforderungen:
- Nur im Innenbereich installieren.
- Choose a location protected from freezing temperatures.

Sanitäranschlüsse:
- Connect to 3/4" NPT water lines.
- Install shut-off valves on both hot and cold water lines.
- Flush the system thoroughly before connecting the heater to remove debris.

- This unit requires 240V electrical service.
- Ensure dedicated circuit breakers are installed as per local codes.
- Connect wiring according to the diagram provided inside the unit's cover.

Bedienungsanleitung
Erstinbetriebnahme:
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Wasserleitungen fest sitzen und dicht sind.
- Open all hot water faucets in the house to purge air from the system. Allow water to flow for several minutes until a steady stream is observed from all faucets.
- Close all hot water faucets.
- Schalten Sie die Stromzufuhr zum Gerät am Sicherungsautomaten ein.
- The digital display will illuminate, showing the current temperature or a default setting.
Temperatureinstellung:
- The RMTEX-27 features a digital temperature control.
- Use the control knob on the front panel to adjust the desired water temperature.
- The temperature can be set in 1°F increments, ranging from 80°F to 140°F.
- The digital display will show the set temperature.

Wartung

- To prevent mineral buildup, it is recommended to flush the unit annually with a descaling solution.
- Consult a qualified plumber for this procedure, especially in areas with hard water.
Element Inspection:
- The copper immersion heating elements are threaded for easy replacement.
- Inspect elements periodically for signs of wear or corrosion. Replacement should be done by a qualified technician.
Reinigung:
