4. Einrichtung

1. Auspacken: Nehmen Sie das Netzteil und sämtliches Zubehör vorsichtig aus der Verpackung. Prüfen Sie die Verpackung auf Beschädigungen.
2. Stromanschluss: Connect the provided AC power cord to the power input on the rear panel of the device, then plug the other end into a grounded AC power outlet.
3. Erstes Einschalten: Press the main power button on the front panel to turn on the device. The display should illuminate.
4. Ausgangsverbindungen: Before connecting any load, ensure the power output is OFF (indicated by the output button not being lit or displaying "OFF"). Connect your load to the output terminals using the provided alligator clip leads or other suitable cables. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the load to the red (+) terminal of the power supply, and the negative (-) terminal of the load to the black (-) terminal of the power supply. For safety, connect the ground (GND) terminal to the chassis ground of your setup if required.

5.1 Lautstärke einstellentage und Strom

1. Ensure the output is OFF before setting parameters.
2. Einstellen der Lautstärketage: Press the 'V' button (or the corresponding button to select voltage adjustment). The voltage display will flash. Rotate the adjustment knob to set the desired voltage. Press the 'V' button again to confirm or wait a few seconds for it to auto-confirm.
3. Stromeinstellung: Press the 'A' button (or the corresponding button to select current adjustment). The current display will flash. Rotate the adjustment knob to set the desired current limit. Press the 'A' button again to confirm or wait a few seconds for it to auto-confirm.
4. Ausgabe aktivieren: Einmal voltage and current limits are set, press the Output ON/OFF button to enable the power output. The button will illuminate, and the display will show the actual output voltage und aktuell.

5.2 Speicherfunktionen (M1-M6)

The device allows you to store and recall up to 6 sets of frequently used voltage und aktuelle Parameter.

• Storing Parameters: Stellen Sie die gewünschte Lautstärke eintage and current. Press and hold one of the memory buttons (M1-M6) for approximately 3 seconds until a beep sounds, indicating the parameters are saved.
• Abrufparameter: Briefly press the desired memory button (M1-M6). The display will show the stored values. Press the button a second time to activate these settings.

5.3 ÜbervoltagSchutz vor Überspannung (OVP) und Überstromschutz (OCP)

These features protect your load and the power supply from damage due to excessive voltage oder aktuell.

• OVP einstellen: Press the OVP button. The OVP value will flash. Use the adjustment knob to set the maximum allowable output voltage. Press OVP again to confirm.
• Einstellung OCP: Press the OCP button. The OCP value will flash. Use the adjustment knob to set the maximum allowable output current. Press OCP again to confirm.

To prevent accidental changes to settings, you can lock the front panel controls.

• Activating Lock: Press and hold the 'Lock' button (often combined with 'List' or another function) for a few seconds until the lock indicator appears or a beep sounds.
• Deactivating Lock: Repeat the same action to unlock the keyboard.

6. PC-Softwaresteuerung

The RockSeed HM305P can be controlled and monitored via a computer using the provided USB interface and software.
