4.1 Anschlüsse und Tasten

5.2 Erstkonfiguration

After physical installation, configure the device via a web Browser.

1. Connect your computer to the PoE converter's LAN port using an Ethernet cable, or connect wirelessly to the extender's default WiFi network (SSID and password usually found on a label on the device or in the Quick Installation Guide).

6.1 AP-/Router-Modus

In this mode, the device acts as a primary router or an access point, creating a new wireless network.

• Router-Modus: Connects to a modem via the WAN/LAN port and provides internet access to connected devices, acting as a DHCP server.
• Access Point (AP)-Modus: Connects to an existing wired router via the WAN/LAN port and extends the wired network wirelessly. It does not perform NAT or DHCP.

6.2 Repeater-Modus

The device wirelessly connects to an existing WiFi network and re-broadcasts it, extending its coverage. This mode is ideal for eliminating WiFi dead zones.

• Select the Repeater mode during setup.
• Scan for available WiFi networks and select the one you wish to extend.
