4. Einrichtung und erste Verwendung
4.1 Auspacken und Zusammenbau
Your SmartGyro e-Xplorer comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:
- Entnehmen Sie vorsichtig alle Komponenten aus der Verpackung.
- Klappen Sie den Scooter-Rahmen auf und arretieren Sie die Lenkerstange in aufrechter Position. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Verriegelungsmechanismus vollständig eingerastet ist.
- Attach the handlebars if they are separate, ensuring all cables are properly connected and not pinched.

4.2 Erstladung des Akkus
Laden Sie den Akku vor dem ersten Gebrauch vollständig auf.

- Suchen Sie den Ladeanschluss, der sich normalerweise in der Nähe des Batteriefachs befindet.
- Schließen Sie das Ladegerät an den Ladeanschluss des Scooters an und stecken Sie es anschließend in eine Steckdose.
- Die Ladeanzeigeleuchte am Ladegerät ändert ihre Farbe (z. B. von Rot auf Grün), wenn der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist.
- Eine vollständige Aufladung dauert in der Regel 5-6 Stunden.

5. Bedienungsanleitung
5.1 Ein-/Ausschalten

- Zum Einschalten: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'ON' position. The display will light up.
- Ausschalten: Drehen Sie den Schlüssel in die Position „AUS“ und ziehen Sie ihn ab.
5.2 Fahrmodi
The e-Xplorer offers three riding modes selectable from the display:
- Energiesparmodus: For maximum battery efficiency and longer range (approx. 45 km). Ideal for casual rides and flat terrain.
- Komfortmodus: A balanced mode offering a good mix of speed and battery life.
- Sportmodus: Provides full power for higher speeds (up to 25 km/h) and climbing inclines. This mode consumes more battery.

- Place one foot firmly on the footrest.

5.4 Bremssystem
The e-Xplorer is equipped with front and rear disc brakes for effective stopping power. Always apply both brakes simultaneously for balanced and safe deceleration.
5.5 Zusammenklappen des Rollers
For storage or transport, the scooter can be folded. Locate the folding mechanism on the stem and follow the instructions to safely collapse the scooter. Ensure it is securely locked in the folded position before carrying.
6. Wartung
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your SmartGyro e-Xplorer.
6.1 Batteriepflege
- Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health. Avoid complete discharge.

- Bei längerer Lagerung sollte der Akku alle 2 bis 3 Monate auf etwa 50-60 % aufgeladen werden.
