3. Einrichtungsanweisungen

1. Strom anschließen: Plug the power adapter into the DC 12V input port on the back of the dock station. Connect the other end of the power adapter to a wall outlet.
2. Mit Computer verbinden: Connect one end of the USB 2.0 data cable to the USB port on the back of the dock station and the other end to an available USB port on your computer.
3. Festplatten einlegen:
   • For 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drives: Gently slide the SATA hard drive into either the 'Masterdisc A' or 'Slavedisc B' bay until it is firmly seated.
   • For 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch IDE drives: Connect the IDE cable and power cable (if required by the drive) to the IDE interface in the bay, then carefully insert the drive.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

4.1 Hard Drive Operation

• Laufwerkserkennung: Once powered on and connected to your computer, the operating system should automatically detect the inserted hard drives. New drives may require initialization and formatting through Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS) before use.

• HDD Activity Indicator: The 'HDD ACT' LED will blink during data read/write operations, indicating active drive usage.

4.2 Card Reader and USB Hub Operation

6. Fehlerbehebung

  • For new hard drives, ensure they are initialized and formatted in your operating system's Disk Management/Disk Utility.

  • Ensure your computer's USB port is functioning correctly.
