Aufstellen

Einlegen der Batterie

1. Suchen Sie die Batterieabdeckung am unteren Ende des Thermometergriffs.
2. Schieben Sie die Batterieabdeckung auf.
3. Legen Sie zwei (2) AAA-Batterien ein und achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität (+ und -), wie im Batteriefach angegeben.
4. Schließen Sie den Batteriedeckel fest, bis er einrastet.

Bedienungsanleitung

Taking a Measurement (Body Mode)

1. Ensure the thermometer is in "Body" mode. If not, press the "Mode" button to switch.
2. Hold the thermometer approximately 3-5 cm (1.2-1.9 inches) from the center of the forehead.
3. Press the measurement trigger. The reading will appear on the LCD screen within 1 second.
4. A short beep indicates the measurement is complete.

Taking a Measurement (Surface Mode)

This mode is suitable for measuring the temperature of objects, liquids, or room temperature.

1. Press the "Mode" button to switch to "Obj" (Object) mode.
2. Point the thermometer at the desired object or surface.
3. Press the measurement trigger. The reading will appear on the LCD screen within 1 second.

Fever Alarm and LCD Backlight Indication

The thermometer features a smart fever alarm system and a color-coded LCD backlight for quick interpretation of readings:

• Grüne Hintergrundbeleuchtung: Normal temperature (32.0°C ~ 37.3°C / 86.0°F ~ 99.1°F).
• Gelbe Hintergrundbeleuchtung: Slight fever (37.4°C ~ 38.0°C / 99.3°F ~ 100.4°F).
• Rote Hintergrundbeleuchtung: Fever (38.1°C ~ 39.2°C / 100.6°F ~ 109.2°F). Accompanied by a warning sound.

Switching Between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F)

1. With the thermometer powered on, press and hold the "Mode" button for approximately 3 seconds.
2. The display will enter function F1 for °C/°F switch.
3. Press the "+" or "-" button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
4. Press the "Mode" button again briefly to confirm your selection and exit the setting.

Memory Funktion

The thermometer can store up to 40 sets of measurement data, allowing you to track temperature changes over time. To access memory:

• In standby mode, briefly press the "+" or "-" button to cycle through the stored readings.
• The readings are displayed from the most recent to the oldest.

Wartung und Pflege

• Reinigung: Wipe the thermometer body with a soft, dry cloth. For the probe, gently wipe with an alcohol swab or a cotton swab moistened with alcohol. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Lagerung: Store the thermometer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery cover is securely closed.
• Batteriewechsel: When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace both AAA batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings.
