4. Bedienungsanleitung
Once the machine is threaded and the bobbin is in place, you can begin sewing:
- Stoff vorbereiten: Place the fabric under the presser foot, aligning the edge with the desired seam allowance.
- Unterer Nähfuß: Senken Sie den Nähfuß mithilfe des Nähfußhebers ab.
- Adjust Stitch Length: Use the lever type stitch regulator to select your desired stitch length. Moving the lever up or down adjusts the length, and the central position allows for reverse stitching.
- Mit dem Nähen beginnen: Slowly turn the handwheel towards you to lower the needle into the fabric. Continue turning the handwheel or use the foot pedal (if applicable) to begin sewing. Guide the fabric gently.
- Rückwärtsnaht: To secure the beginning and end of a seam, push the stitch regulator lever to the reverse position and sew a few stitches, then return it to the forward position.
- Finishing a Seam: When you reach the end of your seam, sew a few reverse stitches to secure it. Raise the needle to its highest position, then raise the presser foot. Pull the fabric away from the machine.
- Cut Thread: Use the in-built thread cutter or a pair of scissors to cut the threads, leaving approximately 4-6 inches of thread tails.
