The Igloo Electric Countertop Ice Maker is a compact and portable appliance designed to produce ice quickly and efficiently. It can produce up to 33 pounds of ice per day, with ice ready in as little as 7 minutes. The unit features an intuitive LED-lighted control panel, allowing you to select between small or large ice cube sizes and indicating when to add water or when the ice basket is full.

Aufstellen

1. Auspacken: Nehmen Sie den Eisbereiter vorsichtig aus der Verpackung. Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial, einschließlich Klebeband und Schutzfolie.
2. Platzierung: Place the unit on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation. Avoid placing near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Erstreinigung: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm, soapy water. Wipe the interior with a soft cloth and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly.
4. Vorbereitung für den ersten Gebrauch: After cleaning, allow the unit to sit upright for at least one hour before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
5. Wasser hinzufügen: Öffnen Sie den Deckel und füllen Sie den Wasserbehälter bis zur Markierung „MAX“ mit Trinkwasser. Nicht überfüllen.

Bedienungsanleitung

1. Einschalten: Schließen Sie den Eiswürfelbereiter an eine geerdete Steckdose an. Drücken Sie die Taste EIN/AUS button to turn on the unit. The "ON/OFF" indicator light will illuminate.
2. Eisgröße auswählen: Drücken Sie die WÄHLEN Schaltfläche zur Auswahl der gewünschten Eiswürfelgröße:
   • SMALL: For smaller, quicker-forming ice cubes.
   • GROSS: For larger, more solid ice cubes.
   The corresponding LED indicator ("SMALL" or "LARGE") will light up.
3. Eisproduktion: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice may take slightly longer (around 7-15 minutes) to form. Subsequent batches will be produced more quickly.
4. Eissammlung: As ice cubes are produced, they will drop into the removable ice basket.
5. Anzeige „EIS VOLL“: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will automatically pause production. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
6. Anzeige „WASSER HINZUFÜGEN“: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will pause. Add more water to the reservoir to resume operation.

Wartung und Reinigung

1. Tägliche Reinigung:

   • Wischen Sie die Innen- und Außenflächen mit einem weichen Tuch und einem milden Reinigungsmittel ab.
   • Vor dem Einlagern oder dem nächsten Gebrauch gründlich trocknen lassen.
2. Gründliche Reinigung (monatlich oder nach Bedarf):
   • Bereiten Sie eine Lösung aus Wasser und weißem Essig (Verhältnis 1:1) oder eine spezielle Reinigungslösung für Eismaschinen zu.
   • Gießen Sie die Lösung in den Wasserbehälter.
   • Run a few ice-making cycles with this solution (do not consume this ice).
   • Drain the solution completely and rinse the reservoir multiple times with fresh water to remove any residue.
   • Wipe down all accessible parts.
3. Lagerung: If storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure it is completely dry to prevent mold or mildew growth. Store in a cool, dry place.
