Your Gevril West Village watch is equipped with a Swiss automatic movement. It is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped or has not been worn for an extended period, it may require manual winding to initiate operation.

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich die Krone in Position 1 befindet (vollständig eingeschoben).

The crown on the side of the watch is used to set both the time and date.

1. Position 1 (Normale Betriebsposition): Crown fully pushed in.
2. Position 2 (Datumseinstellungsposition): Gently pull the crown out one click. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
3. Position 3 (Zeiteinstellungsposition): Pull the crown out a second click. The second hand will stop. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. To ensure accurate time setting, synchronize with a reliable time source. Push the crown back to Position 1 once the time is set.

Wichtig: Always push the crown back to Position 1 after setting to maintain water resistance.

Bedienung Ihrer Automatikuhr

Your Gevril West Village watch is powered by a Swiss Sellita SW200 automatic movement. This means it does not require a battery. The movement is self-winding, relying on the natural motion of your wrist to keep it wound. When fully wound, the watch has a power reserve that allows it to continue running for a period even when not worn.

Gangreserve

A typical power reserve for this movement is approximately 38 hours. If the watch is not worn for more than this period, it will stop. To restart it, either manually wind it as described in the "Initial Winding" section or wear it for several hours to allow the automatic rotor to wind the mainspring.

Wasserbeständigkeit

Your Gevril West Village watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM / 300 feet). This rating makes it suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance. Do not operate the crown while the watch is submerged in water.
