Carefully remove the bug zapper from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.

Choose a suitable location for the bug zapper to maximize its effectiveness and ensure safety.

• Place the unit on a flat, stable surface or hang it using the integrated lanyard.
• For best results, place the unit in a dark area, away from competing light sources such as windows or other bright lights, especially during nighttime operation.
• Position the zapper approximately 3 to 6 feet (0.9 to 1.8 meters) above the floor for optimal insect attraction.
• Ensure it is away from food preparation areas and high-traffic zones to prevent accidental contact.

Bedienungsanleitung

Einschalten

1. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

2. Locate the power switch on the side of the unit and flip it to the "ON" position. The UV lamps will illuminate, indicating the unit is operational.

Bedienungstipps

• For maximum effectiveness, operate the bug zapper primarily during nighttime or in dimly lit conditions, as insects are more attracted to the UV light in the absence of other light sources.
• Keep windows and doors closed in the area where the zapper is operating to prevent more insects from entering.
• Allow the unit to operate continuously for several hours to significantly reduce insect populations.

Reinigung der Auffangschale

The collection tray at the bottom of the unit gathers dead insects. Clean it regularly to maintain hygiene and efficiency.

• Ensure the bug zapper is unplugged from the power outlet.
• Gently pull out the collection tray from the bottom of the unit.
• Dispose of the insect remains.

• Use the provided cleaning brush to gently sweep away any insect remains from the electric grid. Do not use water or other liquids on the grid.
• Do not attempt to open the main housing of the unit beyond the removable tray and protective frame.

Das UV-lamp tubes may need replacement after extended use (typically 6000+ hours) or if they appear dim. The unit comes with two extra replacement tubes.

• Ensure the unit is unplugged and fully discharged (wait 20 minutes after unplugging).
• Carefully open the protective frame by gently prying it open with a screwdriver or similar tool (refer to product diagrams for specific latch locations).
• Gently twist the old lamp tube 90 degrees to unlock it from its socket and pull it out.
