AITRIP AITRIP ESP32 Breakout Board GPIO 1 into 2
AITRIP ESP32 Breakout Board GPIO 1-to-2 Adapter User Manual
1. Einleitung
This manual provides detailed instructions for the AITRIP ESP32 Breakout Board, designed to facilitate easier access and expansion of GPIO pins for compatible ESP32 development boards. It is intended for users familiar with basic electronics and microcontroller programming.
2. Produktüberschreitungview
The AITRIP ESP32 Breakout Board serves as an adapter to expand one GPIO pin of an ESP32 development board into two, providing convenient access via screw terminals. This feature is particularly useful for prototyping and integrating ESP32 modules into various smart home or DIY projects, offering a more robust alternative to traditional breadboards for permanent installations.

3. Kompatibilität
Important: This breakout board is exclusively compatible with 38-pin ESP32-WROOM-32 development boards (narrow version) that do not have mounting holes. It is NOT compatible with 30-pin ESP32 boards or the ESP-WROOM-32 DevKit V1 version.
Before attempting installation, verify that your ESP32 development board's pin configuration and width precisely match the breakout board's pin headers. Refer to the following image for visual confirmation of a compatible ESP32 module installed on the breakout board.

4. Einrichtungsanweisungen
Follow these steps to correctly install your ESP32 development board onto the AITRIP Breakout Board:
- Kompatibilität überprüfen: Ensure your ESP32 board is a 38-pin narrow version, as detailed in Section 3.
- Ausrichtungsstifte: Carefully align the pins of your ESP32 development board with the female headers on the breakout board. Ensure all pins are correctly positioned over their respective sockets.
- Vorsichtig einführen: Apply gentle, even pressure to insert the ESP32 board into the breakout board's headers. Avoid forcing the board, as this can bend or damage pins. The board should sit flush and securely.

5. Bedienungsanleitung
Once your ESP32 board is securely mounted on the breakout board, you can access its GPIO pins through the clearly labeled screw terminals. Each original GPIO pin is expanded to two accessible terminals, allowing for flexible wiring and connections.
- PIN-Identifizierung: Refer to the pin indications printed on the breakout board (as shown in Image 4.2) to identify the corresponding GPIO pins.
- Kabelverbindungen: Use small screwdrivers to loosen the screws on the terminal blocks. Insert your wires into the appropriate terminals and tighten the screws to secure the connection. Ensure wires are stripped to an appropriate length to prevent short circuits.
- Stromversorgung: The breakout board does not provide power to the ESP32. Power must be supplied to the ESP32 module directly, typically via its USB port or dedicated power pins.

6. Wartung
To ensure the longevity and reliable operation of your AITRIP ESP32 Breakout Board, observe the following maintenance guidelines:
- Handhabung: Handle the board by its edges to avoid touching components or solder joints, which can introduce static electricity or contaminants.
- Reinigung: If cleaning is necessary, use a soft, dry brush or compressed air to remove dust. For stubborn grime, a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol can be used, ensuring the board is completely dry before use.
- Lagerung: Lagern Sie die Platine in einer trockenen, antistatischen Umgebung, fern von direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und extremen Temperaturen.
- Inspektion: Periodically inspect the screw terminals for any loose connections and tighten if necessary.
7. Fehlerbehebung
- Issue: ESP32 board does not fit or pins bend.
Lösung: Re-verify the compatibility of your ESP32 development board. This breakout board is only for 38-pin narrow version ESP32-WROOM-32 modules. It is not compatible with 30-pin versions or the ESP-WROOM-32 DevKit V1. Ensure correct pin alignment before applying pressure. Do not force the board.
- Issue: Connections are intermittent or not working.
Lösung: Check all wire connections to the screw terminals. Ensure the wires are properly stripped and securely tightened within the terminals. Verify that the ESP32 module is fully seated in the breakout board's headers. Confirm that the correct GPIO pins are being used for your application.
- Issue: Board appears warped or damaged.
Lösung: If the board arrived damaged or warped, contact the seller for a replacement. Do not attempt to use a damaged board as it may lead to electrical issues or further damage to connected components.
