Model: JWQ13V50
1. Produktüberschreitungview
The Bartovation Iron Test Strips are designed for accurately measuring aqueous Fe2+ (Ferrous) iron in water samples. These strips provide an easy-to-read colorimetric method to determine iron concentration within a range of 0-500 PPM (parts per million).
Hauptmerkmale:
- Easy to read distinct color blocks at 0, 3, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 PPM Fe2+.
- Comes in a bottle with a moisture wicking cap to ensure strip integrity.
- No extra equipment or chemicals required for quick and accurate testing.
- Ideal for monitoring corrosion levels in closed-loop systems and determining metal types in various industries.

2. Einrichtung
Before beginning your test, ensure you have the following components:
- Bartovation Iron Test Strips (50 strips per bottle)
- Desiccated bottle with moisture-wicking cap
- Color chart (located on the bottle label)
- Alsample of the water to be tested

3. Bedienungsanleitung
Follow these steps for accurate iron testing:
- Immerse the test strip: Carefully remove one test strip from the bottle. Immediately immerse the test pad of the strip into the water sample being tested for 1 Sekunde.
- Shake off excess liquid: After immersion, remove the strip and gently shake off any excess liquid.
- Wait for color development: Hold the strip horizontally and wait for 10 Sekunden for the color on the test pad to develop.
- Compare with color chart: Immediately after the 10-second waiting period, compare the color change on the test pad with the color chart provided on the bottle label. Match the developed color to the closest color block on the chart to determine the Fe2+ (Ferrous) iron concentration in PPM.

4. Wartung
To ensure the longevity and accuracy of your test strips:
- Always replace the cap immediately and tightly after removing a strip. The cap contains a desiccant to protect the strips from moisture.
- Store the bottle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
- Do not touch the test pad portion of the strip with your fingers, as oils and contaminants can affect results.
- Use strips before their expiration date for reliable results.

5. Fehlerbehebung
If you encounter issues or inconsistent results, consider the following:
- Inaccurate or Unclear Color Development: Ensure the strip was immersed for exactly 1 second. Over-immersion or under-immersion can affect the reaction. Also, ensure you waited the full 10 seconds for color development before comparing.
- Difficulty Matching Color Chart: Ensure you are comparing the strip under good, consistent lighting conditions. The color chart on the bottle is the definitive reference.
- Strips Not Working: Verify the strips have been stored correctly in their sealed bottle with the moisture-wicking cap and have not expired. Exposure to humidity or air can degrade the reagents.
- Measuring Ferric Iron (Fe3+): These strips are specifically designed to measure Ferrous Iron (Fe2+). They will not measure Ferric Iron (Fe3+), which is the main source of iron in the environment and forms the primary component of rust. Ferric iron causes water to become brown and smell metallic.
