4. Bedienungsanleitung
The Igloo Automatic Self-Cleaning Ice Maker is designed for straightforward operation. Follow these steps to produce ice:
- Wasser hinzufügen: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the maximum fill line. The 'ADD WATER' indicator light on the control panel will illuminate if the water level is too low.
- Einschalten: Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the control panel to turn on the unit. The 'POWER' indicator light will illuminate.

The ice maker features an automatic self-cleaning cycle to maintain hygiene and performance. To activate the self-cleaning function:

- Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of water and a small amount of vinegar or bleach cleaning solution (follow manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning solution dilution).
- Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button until both the 'S' (small) and 'L' (large) indicator lights flash simultaneously. This indicates the self-cleaning cycle has started.
- The unit will cycle the cleaning solution for approximately 30 seconds.
- After the cycle, drain the cleaning solution from the water tank using the drain plug located at the bottom of the unit.
- Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water and drain again to remove any residual cleaning solution.
