Bedienung der Uhr

Your Timex Waterbury watch is designed for daily wear and features a robust construction. It is water resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet), making it suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.

The rotating bezel can be used to track elapsed time or a third time zone. Align the zero marker on the bezel with the minute hand for elapsed time, or with the GMT hand for a third time zone.

Wartung und Pflege

  • Reinigung: Reinigen Sie das Uhrengehäuse und das Glas mit einem weichen, fusselfreien Tuch.amp cloth. For the strap, follow specific care instructions based on its material (e.g., for fabric/leather, avoid excessive moisture).
  • Wasserbeständigkeit: While water resistant, avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes or harsh chemicals. Always rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
  • Batteriewechsel: This watch uses a quartz movement powered by a battery. When the watch stops or the second hand begins to jump erratically (indicating low battery), it's time for a replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
  • Lagerung: Bewahren Sie Ihre Uhr bei Nichtgebrauch an einem kühlen, trockenen Ort fern von direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und starken Magnetfeldern auf.
