4. Einrichtung

1. Packen Sie das Gerät aus: Carefully remove the LogiLink EM0004 from its packaging.
2. In die Steckdose stecken: Insert the energy cost meter directly into a standard 230V, 50Hz wall outlet. The display will illuminate.
3. Rotate Display (Optional): Adjust the display angle up to 180° for optimal visibility.
4. Gerät anschließen: Plug the appliance you wish to monitor into the socket on the front of the energy cost meter.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1. Setting the Electricity Tariff

To calculate energy costs, you must first enter your local electricity tariff (cost per kWh).

1. Halten Sie die MODUS button for approximately 3 seconds until the cost setting mode is activated. The display will show "COST" and a flashing digit.
2. Verwenden Sie die UP button to increase the flashing digit.
3. Drücken Sie die MODUS button briefly to move to the next digit.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until your desired tariff (e.g., 0.25 for €0.25 per kWh) is entered.
5. Halten Sie die MODUS button again for 3 seconds to save the tariff and exit the setting mode.

5.2. Navigation durch die Anzeigemodi

Drücken Sie die MODUS button briefly to cycle through the different display modes. The available modes are:

• Bandtage(V): Zeigt die aktuelle Leitungslautstärke antage (z. B. 230.0 V).
• Strom (A): Zeigt die Stromaufnahme des angeschlossenen Geräts an.
• Leistung (W): Zeigt den Stromverbrauch des Geräts in Echtzeit an.
• Frequenz (Hz): Displays the mains frequency (e.g., 50.0Hz).
• Gesamtenergie (kWh): Accumulates the total energy consumed since the last reset.
• Gesamtkosten: Displays the total calculated cost based on the accumulated energy and set tariff.

5.3. Resetting Total Energy/Cost

To reset the accumulated total energy (kWh) and total cost, press and hold the UP button for approximately 3 seconds while in the Total Energy (kWh) or Total Cost display mode. The values will reset to zero.

7.1. Display is blank or not working
