Operating Instructions: Securing Your Bicycle

1. Choose a secure, immovable object to lock your bike to, such as a dedicated bike rack, sturdy pole, or railing.
2. Position your bike close to the object.
3. Enter your 4-digit combination to unlock the U-lock and remove the shackle from the crossbar.
4. Pass the shackle through the frame of your bicycle and around the immovable object. If possible, also include one of your wheels (preferably the front wheel) within the shackle.
5. Reinsert both ends of the shackle firmly into the crossbar until you hear a click, ensuring both sides are fully engaged.
