5. Einrichtung

5.1 Installationstyp

The thermostat supports both desktop use and wall-mounted installation. Choose the method that best suits your needs.

5.2 Verdrahtungsanweisungen

Before proceeding, ensure the power to your HVAC system is completely off at the circuit breaker.

1. Entfernen Sie die Frontplatte Ihres alten Thermostats. Machen Sie zur Orientierung ein Foto der Verkabelung.
2. Disconnect the wires from your old thermostat.
3. Mount the new Walfront thermostat's wall plate to the desired location using the provided screws and anchors, or use the double-sided adhesive for desktop placement.
4. Connect the HVAC system wires to the corresponding terminals on the Walfront thermostat. This thermostat requires 18AWG wiring, specifically R and C lines for power. Refer to the wiring diagram in the included instruction book for detailed connections.
5. Once wiring is complete, attach the thermostat's touch screen unit to the back cover/wall plate.
6. Schalten Sie die Stromversorgung Ihrer Heizungs-, Lüftungs- und Klimaanlage am Sicherungsautomaten wieder ein.

5.3 Erstes Einschalten und WLAN-Verbindung

Upon first power-on, the thermostat will guide you through the initial setup process, including connecting to your home Wi-Fi network (802.11B G N20 N40 at 2.4GHz).
