2. Sicherheitshinweise

3. Einrichtung

3.1 Auspacken

Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and tape. Inspect the freezer for any damage. Keep packaging materials away from children.

3.2 Platzierung

Place the freezer on a flat, stable surface strong enough to support the unit when fully loaded. This model is Garage bereit, meaning it can operate effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F (-17°C to 43°C).

3.3 Belüftung

Ensure adequate air circulation around the freezer. Leave at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space between the back of the freezer and the wall, and sufficient space on the sides and top for proper ventilation and heat dissipation.

3.4 Nivellierung

The freezer is equipped with 4 rollers for easy movement. Ensure the freezer is level to ensure proper door sealing and efficient operation. Adjust the leveling feet if necessary.

3.5 Stromanschluss

Plug the freezer into a dedicated, grounded 115V electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or multi-outlet adapters. Allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.

3.6 Erstinbetriebnahme

After plugging in, the green Strom aktiv indicator light will illuminate, confirming the unit is receiving power. Allow the freezer to cool for several hours (at least 4-6 hours) before loading it with food.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

4.1 Temperaturregelung

The temperature is controlled by a dial located on the front of the unit. Turn the dial to adjust the temperature. Settings range from 'Min' (less cold) to 'Max' (coldest). For typical freezing, a mid-range setting is often sufficient. The dial also indicates a 'Freezer Congelateur' and 'Refrigerateur' range, allowing for convertible use if desired, though this model is primarily a freezer.

4.2 Kontrollleuchten

• Power Active (Green): Illuminates when the freezer is connected to power and operating.
• Freezer Congelateur (Blue): Illuminates when the compressor is actively running to cool the unit.

4.5 Freezer Lock

A lock and key are provided to secure the contents of your freezer. Insert the key and turn to lock or unlock the lid.

5. Wartung

5.1 Auftauen

Over time, frost will build up on the interior walls. For optimal performance, defrost the freezer when the frost layer is about ¼ to ½ inch thick. To defrost:
