The SMTAV PTZ Camera is a versatile device offering multiple connectivity options and high-definition video output. It features a 30X optical zoom lens and supports various control methods.

5. Einrichtung

5.1 Physische Installation

The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted using the included wall mount bracket. Ensure the mounting location is stable and can support the camera's weight.

5.2 Stromversorgung der Kamera

Connect the provided DC12V power adapter to the camera's DC12V port and plug it into a power outlet. Alternatively, if using a PoE-enabled network switch, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port for both power and data.

5.3 Video- und Audioanschlüsse

• HDMI-Ausgang: Connect an HDMI cable from the camera's HDMI port to a display or video switcher.
• 3G-SDI Output: Connect a 3G-SDI cable from the camera's 3G-SDI port to a professional video switcher or recorder.
• USB-Ausgang: Connect a USB cable from the camera's USB port to a computer for use with video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Skype) or streaming software (e.g., OBS, vMix).
• IP-Streaming: Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port. The camera supports TCP/IP, HTTP, RTSP, RTMP, Onvif, DHCP, and multicast protocols for direct live streaming to platforms like YouTube and Facebook.
• Audioeingang: Connect an external microphone or audio source to the 3.5mm LINE-IN port. Audio can be embedded into HDMI and IP streams.

5.4 Netzwerkkonfiguration

For IP streaming and control, the camera requires network configuration. By default, the camera may obtain an IP address via DHCP. 6. Bedienungsanleitung

6.1 Schwenk-, Neige- und Zoomsteuerung (PTZ)

The camera can be controlled using the included IR remote, an IP PTZ camera controller, or via its web interface. The camera supports pan (horizontal), tilt (vertical), and zoom adjustments.

• Pfanne: Rotate the camera horizontally up to ±170 degrees.
• Neigung: Adjust the camera vertically from -30 to +90 degrees.
• Zoom: Utilize the 30X optical zoom for detailed close-ups or wide shots.

6.2 Preset-Verwaltung

The camera allows you to save and recall specific camera positions (pan, tilt, zoom, focus) as presets. This is useful for quickly switching between different shots during a live event.

• Speichern einer Voreinstellung: Position the camera as desired, then press the 'PRESET' button on the remote followed by a number (0-9).

6.3 Live-Streaming

6.4 Image Quality and Encoding

The camera delivers Full HD 1080P resolution at up to 60 frames per second (fps). It supports H.264/H.265 encoding for efficient bandwidth usage.

8. Fehlerbehebung

• Kein Strom: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and the power outlet is functional. If using PoE, verify the Ethernet cable and switch are working correctly.
• Keine Videoausgabe: Check all video cable connections (HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB). Ensure the correct input is selected on your display or switcher. Verify network connectivity for IP streams.
• Camera Freezing/Losing IP Connection: This can sometimes occur with certain NDI configurations. Ensure NDI protocols are correctly activated if you intend to use them. Contact customer support if the issue persists after checking network settings and connections.
• Mangelhafte Bildqualität/Farbprobleme: Check lighting conditions. Adjust white balance and other image settings via the camera's OSD menu or web interface. Ensure the lens is clean.
• Kontrollprobleme: Verify the remote control batteries. Ensure line of sight for IR remote. Check serial cable connections and control protocol settings (RS232/422/485). For IP control, confirm network connectivity and IP address.
