4. Einrichtung und Installation

Proper installation is critical for the performance and safety of your filter system.

1. Standort: Place the filter system on a firm, level surface, preferably concrete, as close to the pool as possible. Ensure adequate ventilation and protection from direct sunlight and extreme weather.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

The multi-port valve controls the flow of water through the filter system. Always turn off the pump before changing the valve position to prevent damage.

Multi-Port Valve Positions:

• FILTER: Normal filtering operation. Water flows through the sand bed, trapping debris, and returns to the pool. This is the most common setting.
• RÜCKSPÜLUNG: Used to clean the filter sand. Water flows in reverse through the sand bed, dislodging trapped debris, and is directed out the waste port. Backwash until the sight glass (if present) runs clear.
• SPÜLEN: Used after backwashing to settle the sand bed and flush any remaining dirty water to waste. Run for 30-60 seconds.
• ABFALL/ABFLUSS: Bypasses the filter and sends water directly out the waste port. Useful for vacuuming heavy debris directly to waste or lowering pool water level.
• UMKEHREN/UMGEBEN: Bypasses the filter and circulates water directly back to the pool. Useful for distributing chemicals without filtering.
• GESCHLOSSEN/WINTERISIEREN: Closes all ports to the filter. Use for servicing the pump or filter, or for winterizing the system. Never operate the pump in this position.

1. Ensure the pool is filled to the proper level.
2. Prime the pump if necessary (fill the pump basket with water).
