2. Sicherheitshinweise

Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the Nilfisk Advance SC450. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or damage to the equipment.

3. Einrichtung und erste Vorbereitung

3.1 Auspacken und Prüfen

3.2 Einlegen und Laden der Batterie

The SC450 uses two 105 Ah wet batteries (part number 56206962).

  1. Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach.
  2. Carefully place the batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity when connecting the terminals.

3.3 Brush Installation

The scrubber is equipped with a 20-inch (51 cm) disc brush, typically a Prolene brush (part number L08837025).

  1. Ensure the machine is turned off and the key is removed.
  2. Tilt the machine back to access the brush deck.
  3. Align the brush with the drive hub and push upwards until it locks into place.
  4. Gently lower the machine.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

4.1 Befüllen des Lösungstanks

The solution tank has a capacity of 10.5 gallons (39.75 liters).

  1. Open the solution tank fill port.
  2. Pour the recommended cleaning solution, diluted according to the manufacturer's instructions, into the tank. Do not overfill.
  3. Securely close the fill port.

4.2 Starten der Maschine

4.3 Scrubbing Process

Walk behind the machine at a steady pace, guiding it over the area to be cleaned. The SC450's low noise level (68 dB(A)) allows for daytime cleaning without significant disruption. The automatic squeegee release mechanism helps prevent damage if the squeegee encounters obstacles, extending its lifespan.

4.4 Entleeren des Auffangtanks

The recovery tank has a capacity of 11.9 gallons (45.05 liters). Empty the recovery tank after each use or when it is full.

  2. Locate the drain hose at the rear of the machine.
  3. Direct the drain hose into a suitable drain or disposal area.
