The EASYGUARD ESW309B-N-BE-B Smart Key System is designed to upgrade your Mercedes Benz vehicle with enhanced keyless entry and security features. This system is specifically compatible with 2014 and later Mercedes Benz FBS4 cars that feature a turn-key start ignition. It is not compatible with vehicles equipped with a factory OEM push-start button.

The system provides functions similar to your original car key, including remote lock/unlock and trunk release. It also supports power window up/down functionality if your original car key has this feature. A key security feature ensures the car cannot be started if the key is not detected inside the vehicle.

3. Kompatibilität

This smart key system is designed for specific Mercedes Benz models and ignition types:

• Kompatible Fahrzeuge: 2014+ Mercedes Benz FBS4 S Class W222, C Class W205, GLC X253.
• Zündungstyp: Turn Key Start only.
• Original Key Fob Style: Your car's factory key fobs should resemble the BE or BE4 styles shown in the product images.
• Unvereinbar: Not suitable for Mercedes Benz cars with factory OEM push start buttons.

4. Installationsanweisungen

This system requires professional installation by a trained alarm installer. The installation is plug-and-play, meaning no soldering of the car ignition cylinder or the factory key's PCB is required. However, you will need to uninstall the ignition cylinder and disassemble your car's factory key.

4.1. Vorbereitung des Fahrzeugs

1. Access the Trunk Module: Remove the trunk boards to access the KG module located on the left side of the trunk.
2. Connect to KG Module: Unplug the original KG module connector and connect it to the provided product harness. This is a plug-and-play connection, avoiding the need for cutting or welding wires.

3. Remove Rear Seat: Pull the buckle on the bottom of the rear seat to remove it.
4. Remove Door Sill Strip: Carefully remove the door sill strip to route wiring.

5. Route Adapter Cable: Thread the adapter cable for the connection module through the gap on the left side of the trunk. An iron wire can be used to assist in threading. Secure the plug onto the iron wire with adhesive tape for easier pulling.
6. Route Line to Driver's Cab: Route the line along the threshold to the driver's cab.

4.3. Antenneninstallation

7. Front PKE Antenna: Install the front PKE antenna along the edge strip near the windshield in the driver's cab.
8. Rear PKE Antenna: Install the rear PKE antenna in the rear of the vehicle, routing its line to the driver's cab as well.
9. High-Frequency Antenna: Install the high-frequency antenna inside the triangle panel.

4.4. Key Fob PCB Installation

One working factory key's PCB is required to be placed in the control module during installation.

10. Disassemble Original Key Fob: Carefully take out the PCB from your original car key fob.
11. Install PCB into Module: Install the original car key PCB flat onto the card slot within the main control module. Ensure it is securely seated.
12. Reinstall Pressure Plate: Install the pressure plate back onto the module to secure the PCB.

13. Remove FBS4 Ignition Lock: This step is crucial for the system's functionality.

14. Haupteinheit sichern: After organizing the lines, ensure the main unit indicator light is facing up. The main unit should be glued to the steps under the seat near the armrest box.
15. Programmierung: A new programming procedure is required after completing all wiring connections. Refer to the specific programming method provided with your product or consult a professional installer.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

The EASYGUARD Smart Key System provides convenient remote control over your vehicle's functions:

• Fernverriegelung/-entriegelung: Use the dedicated buttons on the new key fobs to remotely lock or unlock your vehicle.
• Stammfreigabe: Press the trunk release button on the key fob to open the vehicle's trunk.
• Power Window Control: If your original car key supports it, the new key fobs will also allow you to remotely roll up or down your power windows.
• Starting the Car: The car is started using the same turn-key method as with your factory OEM key fobs.

• Auto springt nicht an: Verify that the key fob is inside the vehicle. Ensure the original key's PCB is correctly installed in the control module. Check all wiring connections.
