4. Einrichtung
4.1 Auspacken und Prüfen
- Nehmen Sie die Pumpe und sämtliches Zubehör vorsichtig aus der Verpackung.
- Inspect for any shipping damage. Contact your dealer immediately if damage is found.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle in der Packliste aufgeführten Komponenten vorhanden sind.

4.2 Fuel and Oil Preparation
WICHTIG: The pump is shipped without engine oil or gasoline. You MUST add engine oil before the first start-up. Failure to do so will cause severe engine damage and void the warranty.
- Motoröl hinzufügen: Locate the oil filler cap/dipstick on the engine. Fill with appropriate 4-stroke engine oil (refer to engine manual for specific type and quantity, typically SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40). Do not overfill.
- Benzin hinzufügen: Füllen Sie den Kraftstofftank mit frischem, bleifreiem Benzin. Nicht überfüllen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Tankdeckel fest verschlossen ist.
4.3 Schlauchanschlüsse
- Saugschlauch: Connect a reinforced suction hose (minimum 80mm / 3 inches diameter) to the pump's inlet. Ensure an airtight seal to prevent air leaks, which can reduce pumping efficiency. Use the provided clamps.
- Ablaufschlauch: Connect a discharge hose (minimum 80mm / 3 inches diameter) to the pump's outlet. Secure with clamps.
- Foot Valve/Strainer: Attach the included foot valve/strainer to the end of the suction hose to prevent debris from entering the pump and to maintain prime.

4.4 Vorbereiten der Pumpe
Before starting, the pump housing must be filled with water to create a vacuum for suction.
- Remove the priming cap located on top of the pump housing.
- Slowly fill the pump housing with clean water until it overflows.
- Replace and securely tighten the priming cap.
5. Bedienungsanleitung
5.1 Motor starten

- Ensure the pump is on a stable, level surface and all hoses are securely connected.
- Open the fuel valve (usually a lever below the fuel tank).
- Den Chokehebel in die Position „CHOKE“ (für Kaltstarts) bewegen.
- Den Motorschalter auf „EIN“ stellen.
- Pull the recoil starter handle slowly until resistance is felt, then pull firmly and quickly. Do not let the rope snap back.
- Sobald der Motor anspringt, bewegen Sie den Chokehebel allmählich in die Position „RUN“.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before engaging the pump.
5.2 Pumping Operation
- After the engine has warmed up, the pump will begin to draw water.
- Monitor the water flow and ensure there are no leaks in the connections.
- Adjust the engine speed as needed for desired flow rate, but avoid running at maximum RPM for extended periods if not necessary.
5.3 Abstellen des Motors
- Reduzieren Sie die Motordrehzahl auf Leerlaufdrehzahl.
- Den Motorschalter in die Position „AUS“ bringen.
- Schließen Sie den Kraftstoffhahn.
6. Wartung

6.1 Routine Checks (Before Each Use)
- Check engine oil level and top up if necessary.
