2. Sicherheitshinweise

Um einen sicheren Betrieb zu gewährleisten und Schäden zu vermeiden, beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Sicherheitsrichtlinien:

• Always close the umbrella during strong winds, heavy rain, or snow to prevent damage to the umbrella and potential injury.
• Ensure the base is properly weighted and stable before opening the umbrella. Use appropriate base weights (not included).
• Do not attempt to open or close the umbrella forcefully if it encounters resistance. Check for obstructions.

4. Aufbau und Montage

Befolgen Sie diese Schritte für eine ordnungsgemäße Montage:

1. Bereiten Sie die Basis vor: Place the cross base on a flat, stable surface. Securely attach appropriate base weights (e.g., sandbags, water-filled bases, concrete slabs) to the cross base. Base weights are crucial for stability and are typically sold separately.
2. Hauptmast anbringen: Insert the main pole assembly into the designated slot on the cross base. Secure it using the provided hardware (bolts, washers, nuts). Ensure it is tightened firmly.
3. Montieren Sie das Schirmdach: Carefully lift the umbrella canopy assembly and attach it to the main pole. Follow the specific instructions in the included hardware kit for securing the canopy to the cantilever arm.
4. LED-Licht installieren: The LED light unit is designed to be removable. Locate the central attachment point under the canopy. Securely twist or clip the LED light into place. Ensure it is fully charged before first use (charge for 3 hours for up to 18 hours of illumination).

5. Bedienungsanleitung

Your Devoko umbrella offers versatile adjustments for optimal shade and lighting.

5.1 Öffnen und Schließen des Regenschirms

• Öffnen: Locate the crank mechanism on the main pole. Rotate the crank handle clockwise until the canopy is fully extended and taut. Do not over-crank.
• Schließen: Rotate the crank handle counter-clockwise until the canopy is fully retracted. Secure the closed canopy with the integrated strap or protective cover.

5.2 Adjusting Height, Angle, and Rotation

• Höhenverstellung: Use the locking lever or pin on the main pole to adjust the height of the umbrella. Release the lock, slide the canopy assembly to the desired height, and re-engage the lock securely.
• Winkelverstellung (Neigung): Use the tilt mechanism (often a handle or button) on the cantilever arm to adjust the canopy's angle up to 45 degrees. Lock it in place once the desired angle is achieved.
• 360° Drehung: To rotate the entire umbrella, locate the foot pedal at the base of the main pole. Press the pedal to unlock the rotation mechanism, turn the umbrella to the desired direction, and release the pedal to lock it in place.

5.3 Verwendung der LED-Beleuchtung

• Ensure the LED light unit is charged.
• Use the provided remote control to turn the light on/off and adjust brightness levels.
• The LED light provides up to 18 hours of illumination on a 3-hour charge.

6. Wartung

• Reinigung des Baldachins: The canopy is made of 210G polyester fabric with a polyurethane coating, which is water-resistant and easy to clean. Spot clean with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. While the fabric is durable, machine washing the entire canopy is not recommended as it may affect the coating and structure.
• Rahmen reinigen: Den Aluminiumrahmen mit einem Tuch abwischenamp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly to prevent water spots. The frame features an anti-oxidative design to resist rust.
