4. Einrichtung

4.1 Auspacken und Aufstellen

• Nehmen Sie die Nähmaschine und sämtliches Zubehör vorsichtig aus der Verpackung.
• Stellen Sie die Maschine auf eine stabile, ebene Fläche mit ausreichender Beleuchtung.
• Ensure there is enough space around the machine for comfortable operation and fabric handling.

4.2 Stromanschluss

• Locate the Power Plug socket on the machine (refer to Figure 3.1).
• Insert the power adapter into the Power Plug socket, then plug the adapter into a suitable electrical outlet (6V, 9W).
• If using the foot pedal, connect it to the Foot Plug socket (refer to Figure 3.1).

1. Place a spool of thread on the Wire Rack (refer to Figure 3.1 and 3.2).
2. Guide the thread through the Wire Sheet (refer to Figure 3.2).
3. Follow the threading path indicated on the machine, passing through the Clamping Piece and Upper Thread Tightness Adjustment (refer to Figure 3.1).

2. Open the Visual Bottom Line Box to access the bobbin case (refer to Figure 3.1).

4. Close the Visual Bottom Line Box securely.

4.4 Work Area Extension

5. Bedienung

5.1 Stichauswahl

The UFR-608A offers 12 types of stitches, including straight and curved lines. To select a stitch, turn the Stitch Adjustment dial (refer to Figure 3.1) to the desired stitch pattern number.

5.2 Erste Nähversuche

1. Raise the presser foot using the Presser Foot Lever (refer to Figure 3.2).
2. Legen Sie Ihren Stoff unter den Nähfuß.
3. Lower the presser foot onto the fabric.
4. Gently press the foot pedal or use the handwheel to start sewing. Guide the fabric smoothly.

5.3 Rückwärtsstichfunktion

To reinforce seams at the beginning and end of your stitching, use the Reverse Stitch lever (refer to Figure 3.1). Hold the lever down to sew backward, then release to continue sewing forward.

5.4 Sewing Thick Fabrics

This machine is designed with a powerful motor capable of sewing through thick materials, such as up to 8 layers of denim. Ensure you use the correct needle type and size for the fabric thickness to prevent needle breakage and ensure smooth stitching.

5.5 Double Needle, Double Thread Sewing

5.7 Overlocking Function
