3. Sicherheitshinweise

4. Einrichtung und Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of the electric motor controller kit. Refer to the wiring diagrams for visual guidance.

4.1 Controller Placement and Connections

Mount the controller in a secure, protected location on your bicycle, away from direct water exposure. The controller box dimensions are approximately 150x83x42mm (5.9x3.3x1.7in).

Connect the main wires from the controller:

• Motor Cable: Connect the motor cable from the controller to your electric motor. This is typically a 9-pin connector.
• Netzkabel: Connect the red and black power cords to your 36V or 48V battery. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
• 1-to-5 Cable: Connect the 9-pin end of the 1-to-5 cable to the corresponding port on the controller. This cable distributes connections to other accessories.
• Light Cord: Connect the red 2-pin light cord to the tail light.

4.2 Connecting Accessories via 1-to-5 Cable

The 1-to-5 cable simplifies the connection of multiple accessories. Connect the following components to the corresponding ports on the 1-to-5 cable:

• S810 Display: Connect the 5-pin display cable.
• Dial Accelerator (Throttle): Connect the 3-pin throttle cable.
• Bremshebel: Connect the 3-pin electric brake cables from both brake levers.
• Licht: Connect the 2-pin light cable (if not directly connected to the controller).

4.3 PAS Sensor and Brake Levers

• PAS Sensor (8C Booster): Install the PAS sensor on your bicycle's bottom bracket, ensuring it aligns with the pedal crank. Connect its 3-pin yellow head cable to the controller or the 1-to-5 cable if a dedicated port is available.
• Bremshebel: Replace your existing brake levers with the provided ones. These levers include integrated cut-off switches that signal the controller to stop motor assistance when brakes are applied. Connect their cables to the 1-to-5 cable.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 S810 Display Functions

The S810 display is compatible with both 36V and 48V systems and provides essential riding information.

• Ein-/Ausschalten: Halten Sie den Netzschalter gedrückt, um das System ein- oder auszuschalten.
• Modus-Taste: Use the mode button to cycle through different display modes (e.g., total mileage, trip mileage, speed).
• Gear Indication: The display shows high, medium, and low gear options, providing analog thrust levels. The system automatically restores the last gear state upon power-up.
• Batteriestand: Provides an accurate display of battery power, helping to monitor remaining range.
• Lichtsteuerung: The display may have a button to control the connected lights.

5.2 Dial Accelerator (Thumb Shifter)

The dial accelerator provides manual control over motor speed. Gently press the lever to increase speed. Release to decrease speed.

5.3 Brake Levers

The integrated brake levers cut off power to the motor when activated, ensuring safe stopping. Always use brakes as needed for control and safety.

5.4 PAS (Pedal Assist System)

The PAS sensor detects pedaling motion and provides motor assistance based on the selected gear level. This allows for a more natural riding experience, supplementing your pedaling effort.

6. Wartung

• Kein Strom zum Display:
  • Batterieanschluss und Ladezustand prüfen.
  • Ensure all main power cables to the controller are securely connected.
  • Verify the display cable is properly connected to the 1-to-5 cable and controller.
• Motor reagiert nicht:
  • Check motor cable connection to the controller.
  • Ensure the throttle is properly connected and functioning.
  • Verify brake levers are not engaged, as they cut motor power.
  • Check PAS sensor connection and alignment if using pedal assist.
• Inconsistent Power/Speed:
