Setup und Installation

Proper wiring is critical for the safe and accurate operation of the BM730 meter. Refer to the diagram below for connection details.

Kabelverbindungen:

  1. Power Supply for Meter (Thin Red/Black Wires):

Connect the thin red wire to the positive (+) terminal of your DC power source (0-100V).

Connect the thin black wire to the negative (-) terminal of your DC power source.

Note: The meter can be self-powered from the circuit it is measuring, or powered by a separate supply within its voltage Reichweite.

  2. Current Measurement (Thick Red/Black Wires):

The thick red wire (IN+) and thick black wire (OUT-) are for current measurement. These wires must be connected in series with the load you wish to measure.

Connect the thick red wire (IN+) to the positive side of the load.

Connect the thick black wire (OUT-) to the negative side of the load, completing the circuit back to the power source.

Wichtig: Do not connect the thick current wires directly across the power source; this will short the circuit and damage the meter or power source.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Verbindungen sicher und isoliert sind, um Kurzschlüsse zu vermeiden.

Bedienungsanleitung

  1. Einschalten: Once correctly wired, apply power to the circuit. The meter's display will illuminate, showing voltage-, Strom- und Leistungsmesswerte.
  2. Anzeige lesen:

The top red display shows voltage in Volt (V).

The middle green display shows current in Amperes (A).

The bottom blue display shows power in Watts (W).

  3. Tastenfunktionen:

The buttons (Up, M, Down, R) are typically used for fine adjustment, calibration, or alarm settings. Refer to specific advanced usage guides if available for detailed button functionalities. For basic operation, the meter displays readings automatically.

  4. Übervolumentage/Overcurrent Alarm: The meter supports an overvoltage and overcurrent sound alarm function. If the measured values exceed preset thresholds, an audible alarm may sound.

Wartung

  • Keep the meter clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the display and casing.
  • Avoid exposing the meter to extreme temperatures, humidity, or corrosive environments.
  • Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gehäuse zu öffnen.asing or modify the internal circuitry, as this will void any warranty and may cause damage.
  • Bei Nichtgebrauch an einem sicheren Ort aufbewahren.

Fehlerbehebung

Das Messgerät lässt sich nicht einschalten:
Check the thin red and black power supply wires. Ensure they are correctly connected to a DC power source within the 0-100V range. Verify the power source is active.
Bandtage displays, but current/power shows 0:
Ensure the thick red (IN+) and black (OUT-) current measurement wires are correctly connected in series with the load. The load must be drawing current for a reading to appear.
Ungenaue Messwerte:
Verify all connections are secure and free from corrosion. Ensure the meter is operating within its specified voltage und aktuelle Bereiche.
Audible alarm sounds:
Dies deutet auf ein Übervolumen hin.tage or overcurrent condition. Check your circuit for excessive voltage or current draw and adjust as necessary.
