2. Sicherheitshinweise
Observe the following safety guidelines to prevent damage to your watch and ensure safe operation:
- Do not expose the watch to strong magnetic fields, as this may affect timekeeping accuracy.
- Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetics, as they may damage the case, strap, or gaskets.
- Ensure the crown is pushed in completely after setting to maintain water resistance.
3. Einrichtung
- Tag einstellen: Continue rotating the crown to adjust the day. Note that the day changes after midnight.
- Stellen Sie die Uhrzeit ein: Pull the crown out further to position 3. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Ensure you set the correct AM/PM by observing when the date changes.
- Die Krone hineindrücken: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into position 1 (flush with the case) to start the watch and ensure water resistance.

3.2 Einstellen des Riemens
The watch features an 8-inch black two-piece quick-release strap. To adjust the fit:
- Locate the buckle and the series of holes on the strap.
- Insert the pin of the buckle into the hole that provides a comfortable and secure fit on your wrist.

4. Betrieb
4.1 Grundlagen der Zeiterfassung
Your Timex Legacy watch is a quartz movement timepiece designed for accurate timekeeping. Once the time and date are set, the watch will operate continuously until the battery requires replacement.
4.2 Richtlinien zur Wasserbeständigkeit
This watch is water resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or snorkeling. To maintain water resistance:

- For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture. Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely. Do not use harsh chemicals.
5.2 Batteriewechsel
When the watch stops running, the battery needs to be replaced. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance. Attempting to replace the battery yourself may void the warranty and compromise the watch's water resistance.
5.3 Speicherung
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The original packaging or a watch box is ideal for protection.
6. Fehlerbehebung
| Problem | Mögliche Ursache | Lösung |
