3. Einrichtungsanweisungen

3.1 Plattenspieler-Baugruppe

1. Place the Platter: Carefully place the die-cast iron platter onto the turntable spindle.
2. Antriebsriemen einbauen: Gently stretch the drive belt around the inner rim of the platter and hook it onto the motor pulley. Ensure the belt is not twisted.
3. Place the Slip Mat: Position the felt slip mat on top of the platter.
4. Gegengewicht einbauen: Slide the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm. Rotate it to adjust the tracking force according to the cartridge manufacturer's specifications (typically 2.5-3.5 grams for the AT-3600L cartridge).
5. Adjust Anti-Skating: Set the anti-skating dial to match the tracking force. This helps prevent the stylus from skipping across the record.

3.2 Lautsprecheranschluss

Connect the included stereo bookshelf speakers to the speaker output terminals on the rear of the turntable unit using the provided audio cables. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) for optimal sound.

3.3 Stromanschluss

Connect the power adapter to the DC input on the rear of the turntable, then plug the adapter into a suitable wall outlet.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

4.1 Abspielen einer Schallplatte

1. Geschwindigkeit auswählen: Choose the appropriate speed (33 or 45 RPM) using the speed selector knob on the turntable. For 45 RPM records, use the included 45 RPM adapter if necessary.
2. Ortsrekord: Legen Sie Ihre Schallplatte vorsichtig auf den Plattenteller.
3. Tonarm anheben: Use the cueing lever to gently lift the tonearm.
4. Positionieren Sie den Abtaststift: Bewegen Sie den Tonarm über die gewünschte Startrille der Schallplatte.
5. Unterer Tonarm: Slowly lower the cueing lever to gently place the stylus onto the record. The platter will begin to rotate automatically.
6. Lautstärke anpassen: Use the volume knob to set your desired listening level.
7. Wiedergabe stoppen: At the end of the record, the tonearm will automatically return to its rest position. Alternatively, use the cueing lever to lift the tonearm and return it manually.

4.2 Bluetooth-Betrieb

The SoulBox S1 features Bluetooth input, allowing you to stream audio wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or other compatible devices to the system's speakers.

1. Bluetooth aktivieren: Switch the input mode on the turntable to Bluetooth. The Bluetooth indicator light will begin to flash.
2. Gerät koppeln: On your smart device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "SoulBox S1" from the list to pair.
3. Audio streamen: Once paired, you can play audio from your device, and it will be output through the SoulBox S1 speakers.

Notiz: The SoulBox S1's Bluetooth functionality is for input only. It cannot transmit audio from records to external Bluetooth speakers.

4.3 Phono/Line Out Switch

The SoulBox S1 includes a built-in switchable phono preamp. The Phono/Line Out switch on the rear panel allows you to select the appropriate output mode:

• LINE Out: Use this setting when connecting the turntable to an amplifier or receiver that has its own dedicated phono input.
• PHONO Out: Use this setting when connecting the turntable to an amplifier or receiver that does nicht have a dedicated phono input, or when using the built-in speakers. The internal preamp will boost the signal to line level.

5. Wartung

5.1 Reinigung

• Dust Cover and Cabinet: Mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch abwischen. Scheuermittel und Lösungsmittel vermeiden.
• Stift: Verwenden Sie eine weiche Bürste, die speziell für die Stiftreinigung entwickelt wurde, und bürsten Sie vorsichtig von der Rückseite nach vorne.
• Aufzeichnungen: Keep your records clean using a record brush and cleaning solution to prevent dust buildup and improve sound quality.

5.2 Nadelwechsel

The stylus (needle) is a delicate component and will wear out over time. A worn stylus can damage your records and degrade sound quality. Replace the stylus after approximately 300-500 hours of playback, or if you notice a significant drop in sound quality or increased distortion. Refer to the cartridge manufacturer's instructions for specific replacement procedures for the AT-3600L cartridge.
