2. Sicherheitshinweise

5. Einrichtung
5.1 Installation
- Bereiten Sie Ihren PC vor: Power off your computer and unplug it from the power outlet. Open your PC case to access the fan mounting locations.
- Mount the fan unit: Position the ZA-240BR fan unit in your desired location (e.g., top, front, bottom of the case). Secure it using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the reverse blades are oriented to pull air in or push air out as intended for your case's airflow strategy.
- Schließen Sie die Kabel an: The fan unit features simplified cabling for both PWM (4-pin) and ARGB (3-pin, 5V) connections. Connect the 4-pin PWM cable to an available fan header on your motherboard. Connect the 3-pin ARGB cable to a compatible 5V ARGB header on your motherboard.

5.2 Schaltplan
The ZA-240BR unit uses a single cable for both fan power/control and ARGB lighting, simplifying cable management. Connect the 4-pin connector to a PWM fan header and the 3-pin 5V ARGB connector to a compatible ARGB header on your motherboard. If your motherboard lacks a 5V ARGB header, an external ARGB controller (not included) will be required for lighting control.

6. Bedienungsanleitung
6.1 Lüfterdrehzahlregelung (PWM)
The 4-pin PWM connector allows your motherboard to dynamically control the fan speed based on system temperature. This ensures optimal cooling performance while minimizing noise. You can configure fan curves through your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings or dedicated software provided by your motherboard manufacturer.
6.2 ARGB-Beleuchtungssteuerung
The 3-pin 5V ARGB connector enables synchronization of the fan's lighting effects with your motherboard's ARGB ecosystem. Use your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync) to customize colors, patterns, and brightness of the infinity mirror lighting. Ensure your motherboard's ARGB header supports the number of LEDs in the fan unit (52 lamp beads around the circumference and 18 in the axis).

7. Wartung
7.1 Reinigung
Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your fan. Periodically, with the PC powered off and unplugged:
- Use compressed air to remove dust from the fan blades and frame.
- Gently wipe the fan frame and infinity mirror surfaces with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the fan or its lighting components.
8. Fehlerbehebung
8.1 Lüfter dreht sich nicht
- Prüfen Sie, ob das 4-polige PWM-Kabel fest mit dem Lüfteranschluss auf dem Motherboard verbunden ist.
- Überprüfen Sie, ob der Lüfteranschluss in den BIOS/UEFI-Einstellungen Ihres Motherboards aktiviert ist.
- Test the fan on a different fan header or with a known working fan to rule out a faulty header.
8.2 ARGB Lighting Not Working or Incorrect
- Ensure the 3-pin 5V ARGB cable is correctly connected to a compatible 5V ARGB header on your motherboard. Schließen Sie die LEDs nicht an einen 12V RGB-Anschluss an, da dies die LEDs beschädigen wird.
- Check your motherboard's RGB software to ensure the lighting is enabled and configured correctly.
- Confirm that your motherboard's ARGB header or external controller supports the number of LEDs in the fan unit (52 circumference, 18 axis). Some lower-end controllers may not support this count, leading to partial or no illumination.
- Bei Verwendung eines externen ARGB-Controllers muss sichergestellt werden, dass dieser ordnungsgemäß mit Strom versorgt und konfiguriert ist.
8.3 Übermäßiger Lärm
- Check for any obstructions (e.g., cables) hitting the fan blades.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Lüftereinheit fest montiert ist und nicht gegen das PC-Gehäuse vibriert.
- Passen Sie die Lüfterdrehzahlkurve im BIOS/UEFI Ihres Motherboards oder per Software an, um die Drehzahl bei niedrigeren Temperaturen zu reduzieren.
