1. Einleitung

Thank you for choosing the ROCAM Indoor Security Camera. This device is designed to provide reliable home surveillance with features such as 360° pan/tilt, 2-way audio, and night vision. This manual will guide you through the installation, setup, and operation of your camera.

4. Installationsanleitung

4.1. Physische Installation

1. Wählen Sie einen Standort: Select an indoor location with a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a ceiling.
2. Einschalten: Connect the power adapter to the camera's DC 5V port and plug it into a power outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its self-test.
3. Kontrollleuchte: Wait for the indicator light to flash red, indicating it's ready for connection.

4.2. App-Installation und Kontoerstellung

1. Laden Sie die App herunter: Suchen nach the "ROCAM" app in your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and download it.
2. Account registrieren: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new account using your email address or phone number.

4.3. Kameraverbindung

1. Gerät hinzufügen: In the ROCAM app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Smart Camera" or the appropriate camera type.
2. Wi-Fi-Konfiguration: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted. Hinweis: 5-GHz-WLAN-Netzwerke werden nicht unterstützt.
3. QR-Code scannen: The app will generate a QR code. Hold your phone approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) in front of the camera lens until you hear a prompt sound from the camera, indicating successful scanning.
4. Verbindung hergestellt: Sobald die Verbindung hergestellt ist, leuchtet die Kontrollleuchte der Kamera dauerhaft blau. Sie können Ihrer Kamera nun einen Namen geben und sie in Betrieb nehmen.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1. Leben View

Open the ROCAM app and tap on your camera's name to access the live video feed. You can view Echtzeit footage von Ihrer Kamera.

5.2. Schwenken, Neigen und digitaler Zoom

Auf dem leben view screen, swipe your finger across the video feed to remotely control the camera's pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements. Pinch to zoom in or out digitally.

• Schwenkbereich: 320° horizontale Drehung.
• Neigungsbereich: 80° vertikale Drehung.
• Digitalzoom: 4X digital zoom.

5.3. Zwei-Wege-Audio

Tippen Sie in der App auf das Mikrofonsymbol, um über den Kameralautsprecher zu sprechen. Tippen Sie auf das Lautsprechersymbol, um Umgebungsgeräusche der Kamera zu hören.

5.4. Bewegungserkennung und Benachrichtigungen

Enable motion detection in the camera settings within the app. When motion is detected, the camera will record a short video clip and send an alert notification to your smartphone.

5.5. Nachtsicht

The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions, providing clear black and white video up to 30 feet using its integrated IR system.

5.6. Videoaufzeichnung und -speicherung

Die Kamera unterstützt zwei Aufnahmemethoden:

• MicroSD-Kartenspeicher: Insert a MicroSD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the camera's slot for local storage of recordings. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.
• Cloud-Speicher: Subscribe to the optional cloud storage service through the ROCAM app for secure, off-site video storage.

6. Wartung

6.1. Reinigung

Reinigen Sie Objektiv und Gehäuse der Kamera vorsichtig mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch. Vermeiden Sie die Verwendung von scharfen Chemikalien oder Scheuermitteln.

6.2. Firmware-Updates

Periodically check the ROCAM app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security features.

6.3. Speicherverwaltung

Bei Verwendung einer MicroSD-Karte regelmäßig neu ladenview und verwaltet aufgezeichnetetage. Ältere Aufnahmen werden möglicherweise automatisch überschrieben, wenn die Speicherkarte voll ist. Dies hängt von Ihren Einstellungen ab.

7. Fehlerbehebung

• Kamera verbindet sich nicht mit WLAN:
  • Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr WLAN-Netzwerk mit 2.4 GHz arbeitet. 5 GHz wird nicht unterstützt.
  • Überprüfen Sie das WLAN-Passwort auf Richtigkeit.
  • Bringen Sie die Kamera näher an Ihren WLAN-Router heran.
  • Reset the camera by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds until you hear a prompt.
• Kein Live-Videostream:
  • Verify the camera is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi (solid blue indicator light).

  • Restart the ROCAM app.
• Keine Bewegungsbenachrichtigungen empfangen:

  • Adjust motion sensitivity if necessary.
