1. Produktüberschreitungview

The Peakeep Large Display Digital Alarm Clock is designed for clear visibility and ease of use, featuring a large LED display, adjustable brightness, multiple alarm volume settings, and automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustment. It includes a USB charging port and a battery backup system to maintain settings during power interruptions.

The clock displays time, day of the week, and date. It operates via an included Type C adapter and can be backed up with 4 AAA batteries (not included).

2. Einrichtungsanweisungen

2.1 Stromanschluss

Connect the provided Type C adapter to the "Power In" port on the back of the clock and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The clock display will illuminate.

2.2 Installation der Notstromversorgung

For battery backup, open the battery compartment on the back of the clock and insert 4 AAA batteries (not included), observing correct polarity. These batteries will preserve settings and allow the alarm to function during power outages. The main display will not remain continuously lit on battery power alone; press the top button to temporarily view the time for 20 seconds.

2.3 Setting Time, Date, and Day of Week

Refer to the buttons on the back of the clock (Figure 4).

1. Press and hold the "TIME SET" button to enter time setting mode.
2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour. Press "TIME SET" again to confirm and move to minute setting.
3. Adjust minutes with "+" and "-" buttons. Press "TIME SET" to confirm and move to year setting.
4. Adjust the year, then month, then day using "+" and "-" buttons, pressing "TIME SET" after each to confirm.
5. After setting the day, the clock will exit time setting mode. The day of the week will automatically update based on the date.

2.4 Daylight Saving Time (DST) Setting

Press the "DST ON/OFF" button on the back of the clock to toggle the automatic DST feature. When enabled, the clock will automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time changes (Spring Forward/Fall Back).

3. Bedienungsanleitung

3.1 Anzeige überview

The large LED display shows the current time, day of the week, and date. The time can be displayed in 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) or 24-hour (military) format. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the "12/24HR" button on the back.

3.2 Helligkeitseinstellung

The clock features 5 adjustable brightness levels and an option to turn the display completely off. Press the "DIMMER" button on the back of the clock repeatedly to cycle through the brightness settings (L5, L4, L3, L2, L1, OFF).

3.3 Alarm Setting and Volume Control

The alarm offers 5 volume settings for various user preferences.

1. Press and hold the "ALARM SET" button to enter alarm setting mode.
2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the alarm hour. Press "ALARM SET" again to confirm and move to minute setting.
3. Adjust alarm minutes with "+" and "-" buttons. Press "ALARM SET" to confirm.
4. To adjust alarm volume, press the "VOLUME" button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 volume levels (U01 to U05).
5. To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the "ALARM ON/OFF" button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

3.4 Schlummerfunktion

When the alarm sounds, press the large "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button on the top of the clock to activate the 9-minute snooze function. The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes. To turn off the alarm for the day, press any other button on the back of the clock.

3.5 USB-Ladeanschluss

A USB-A charging port is located on the back of the clock (labeled "USB OUT"). This port can be used to charge compatible electronic devices, such as smartphones, while the clock is powered by the Type C adapter.

4. Wartung

4.1 Reinigung

To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.

4.2 Batteriewechsel

If the clock's settings are not retained during a power outage, the AAA backup batteries may need to be replaced. Ensure the clock is connected to its main power source before replacing batteries to avoid losing current settings.

5. Fehlerbehebung

• Bildschirm ist leer oder dunkel: Ensure the Type C adapter is securely plugged into both the clock and a working power outlet. Adjust the brightness using the "DIMMER" button. If using battery backup, the display will only light up temporarily when the top button is pressed.
• Kein Alarm: Verify that the alarm is activated (check for the alarm icon on the display). Ensure the alarm volume is not set to U00 (silent) or a very low setting. Check if the backup batteries are installed and functional if operating during a power outage.
• Time/Date incorrect after power outage: Confirm that 4 AAA backup batteries are correctly installed in the battery compartment. If batteries are old or depleted, replace them.
• USB-Ladefunktion funktioniert nicht: Ensure the clock is powered by the Type C adapter. The USB charging port is only active when the clock is connected to its main power source. Check the charging cable and the device being charged.
