4. Einrichtung und Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up and install your DEWENWILS Outdoor Digital Power Stake Timer.

4.1 Assembling the Stake

1. Connect the two sections of the stake by twisting them together until secure.
2. Attach the assembled stake to the bottom of the timer unit by twisting it into place.

4.2 Bodeninstallation

1. Choose a suitable outdoor location with firm ground.
2. Insert the pointed end of the stake firmly into the ground, ensuring the timer unit is stable and upright.
3. Ensure the bottom of the timer unit, where the outlets are located, is at least 1 foot (30 cm) above ground level to prevent water ingress.

4.3 Wandmontage (optional)

If ground installation is not preferred, the timer can be wall-mounted:

1. Locate the mounting holes on the back of the timer unit.
2. Use appropriate screws (not included) to securely fasten the timer to a wall or sturdy vertical surface. Ensure the mounting location is protected from direct heavy rain if possible, and that the unit remains upright.

1. Plug the timer's 6FT extension cord into a grounded outdoor electrical outlet.
2. Open the clear protective cover.
3. Plug your outdoor lights or appliances into the 6 grounded outlets on the timer.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

The timer features a digital display and several buttons for setting the clock and programming schedules.

5.1 Tastenfunktionen:

• UHR: Dient zum Einstellen der aktuellen Uhrzeit und des Wochentags.
• PROG: Used to enter and exit programming mode for ON/OFF schedules.
• HANDBUCH: Schaltet zwischen den Modi EIN, AUS und AUTO um.
• WOCHE: In CLOCK mode, sets the current day. In PROG mode, selects days for a program.
• STUNDE: Stellt die Stunde ein.
• MIN: Passt die Minute an.
• R (Reset Program): Clears the current program setting.
• ZURÜCKSETZEN: Clears all settings and resets the timer to factory defaults. Use a pointed object (e.g., pen tip) to press.

5.2 Setting the Current Time and Day:

1. Drücken Sie die UHR Drücken Sie diese Taste. Das Display zeigt die aktuelle Uhrzeit an.
2. Halten Sie die UHR Taste drücken WOCHE den aktuellen Tag einstellen (MO, DI, MI, DO, FR, SA, SO).
3. Halten Sie die UHR Taste drücken STUNDE to set the current hour (12-hour format with AM/PM).
4. Halten Sie die UHR Taste drücken MIN um die aktuelle Minute einzustellen.
5. Lassen Sie den UHR Schaltfläche, um die Einstellungen zu speichern.

5.3 Manueller Modus:

Drücken Sie die HANDBUCH Taste, um durch die folgenden Modi zu blättern:

• AUF: All connected devices will remain ON continuously, overriding any programmed schedules.
• AUS: All connected devices will remain OFF continuously, overriding any programmed schedules.
• WAGEN: The timer will operate according to the programmed ON/OFF schedules. This is the default and recommended mode for automated operation.

6. Programmieren des Timers

The timer allows for up to 8 distinct ON/OFF programs. Each program can be set for specific days of the week.

6.1 Setting ON/OFF Programs:

1. Drücken Sie die PROG button once. The display will show "1 ON" and the time will flash. This is for the first ON time.
2. Drücken WOCHE repeatedly to select the desired day(s) for this program. Options include individual days, weekdays (MO TU WE TH FR), weekends (SA SU), or all days (MO TU WE TH FR SA SU).
3. Drücken STUNDE die gewünschte Uhrzeit für die Einschaltzeit einstellen.
4. Drücken MIN die gewünschte Einschaltzeit in Minuten einstellen.
5. Drücken PROG again. The display will show "1 OFF" and the time will flash. This is for the first OFF time.
6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the desired day(s), hour, and minute for the OFF time. Ensure the OFF time is set for the same day(s) as the ON time.
7. Um weitere Programme (bis zu 8) einzustellen, drücken Sie PROG again and repeat steps 1-6 for "2 ON", "2 OFF", and so on.

6.2 Clearing a Program:

If you need to clear a specific ON/OFF program:

1. Drücken Sie die PROG button repeatedly until the program number you wish to clear is displayed (e.g., "3 ON").
2. Drücken Sie die R button. The display will show "--:--", indicating the program has been cleared.
3. Repeat for the corresponding OFF time (e.g., "3 OFF").
4. Drücken UHR , um zu beenden.

6.3 Resetting All Settings:

To clear all programmed settings and reset the timer to its factory default state:
