5. Installationsanweisungen
The JESLED T8 LED Tube Light supports dual-mode installation (Type A+B), allowing for both plug-and-play with existing electronic ballasts or direct wiring (ballast bypass). Always ensure power is disconnected before beginning any installation.
5.1. Allgemeine Vorbereitungsschritte für die Installation

- Remove the existing fluorescent tube(s) from the fixture.
- Identify the type of installation required: Type A (Plug & Play) or Type B (Ballast Bypass).

5.2. Type A Installation (Plug & Play with Ballast)
This method allows the LED tube to work with your existing electronic ballast without rewiring. Ensure your ballast is compatible (refer to the compatibility list below).
- Confirm the fixture has a compatible electronic ballast.
- Insert the JESLED T8 LED tube light into the existing fixture sockets.
- Ensure the tube is firmly seated in the holders.

5.3. Type B Installation (Ballast Bypass / Direct Wire)
This method requires removing the existing ballast and directly wiring the fixture to AC power. This provides maximum energy savings and eliminates ballast-related issues.

- Remove Ballast: Open the fixture and locate the ballast. Cut all wires connected to the ballast and remove it.

- Rewire the Fixture: The JESLED T8 LED tube light is double-end powered. Connect the live (black) wire from the AC power to the pins on one end of the fixture's tombstone sockets. Connect the neutral (white) wire from the AC power to the pins on the other end of the fixture's tombstone sockets. Use wire nuts to secure all connections.
