3. Slide Rule Top Ring
The bidirectional rotating top ring features logarithmic scales, allowing for various calculations such as multiplication, division, distance, fuel consumption, and conversion of units. Align the inner scale with the outer scale to perform calculations. Detailed instructions for specific calculations are typically found in a comprehensive aviation slide rule manual.

Wartung
1. Wasserbeständigkeit
Your Timex watch is water resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet). This makes it suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged, as this can compromise the water resistance. Avoid exposure to hot water or steam, which can damage the seals.
2. Reinigung
Um Ihre Uhr zu reinigen, wischen Sie Gehäuse und Glas mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch ab.amp cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. If the strap becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight.
3. Batteriewechsel
When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to take your watch to an authorized Timex service center or a reputable watchmaker. This ensures proper battery installation and re-sealing to maintain water resistance.
