1. Einleitung

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your RAINPOINT 4-Zone Sprinkler Timer. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and longevity of the device. This timer is designed to automate watering for up to four distinct zones in your garden or lawn.

• Use only 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included). Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.

3.1 Komponenten

4. Einrichtung

4.1 Einlegen der Batterie

1. Suchen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Rückseite des Timers.
2. Schieben Sie die Batterieabdeckung auf.
3. Legen Sie 4 neue AA-Alkalibatterien ein und achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität (+/-).
4. Schließen Sie den Batteriedeckel sorgfältig, um die Wasserdichtigkeit zu gewährleisten.

4.2 Montage des Timers

The timer should be installed vertically to ensure proper operation and prevent water from entering the electronic components. The product is approximately 2.2 pounds, and a metal rod is included for stable mounting.

1. Attach the timer's water inlet to your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten only.
2. If your faucet is low to the ground, ensure there is enough space below the timer to connect the four output hoses.
3. Use the provided metal rod and screw to secure the timer to a stable surface (e.g., a wooden post or wall) to prevent it from falling due to weight or water pressure.

4.3 Anschlussschläuche

1. Connect your garden hoses to the four individual outlets at the bottom of the timer.
2. Ensure each hose is securely attached to prevent leaks.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 Einstellen der aktuellen Uhrzeit

1. Drehen Sie das Zifferblatt auf UHR EINSTELLEN.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the current time (12-hour or 24-hour format).
3. Drücken OK/MANUELL zur Bestätigung.

5.2 Programming Watering Schedules (Automatic Mode)

Each of the four zones can be programmed independently. Only one zone valve can be open at a time. Setting repetitive working times for multiple zones simultaneously may cause issues.

1. Drehen Sie das Zifferblatt auf STARTZEIT. Use '+' and '-' to set the desired start time for watering. Press OK/MANUELL zur Bestätigung.
2. Drehen Sie das Zifferblatt auf WIE LANGE. Use '+' and '-' to set the watering duration (from 1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes). Press OK/MANUELL zur Bestätigung.
3. Drehen Sie das Zifferblatt auf WIE OFT. Use '+' and '-' to set the watering frequency (every 1-12 hours, or every 1-7 days). Press OK/MANUELL zur Bestätigung.
4. To program another zone, press the ZONE button and repeat steps 1-3 for the next zone.
5. Once all desired zones are programmed, turn the dial to ON to activate the automatic watering schedule.

5.3 Regenverzögerungsfunktion

The rain delay function allows you to pause your watering schedule for a set period to avoid overwatering during rainy weather.

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Drehknopf auf eingestellt ist. ON.
2. Drücken Sie die VERZÖGERUNG Taste.
3. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to select a delay period of 24, 48, or 72 hours.
4. Drücken OK/MANUELL to confirm the rain delay. The timer will resume its schedule after the selected delay period.

5.4 Manuelle Bewässerung

Manual watering allows you to water immediately without interrupting your programmed schedule.

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Drehknopf auf eingestellt ist. ON.
2. Halten Sie die OK/MANUELL Taste.
3. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the desired manual watering duration (from 1 minute to 8 hours).
4. Drücken Sie die ZONE button to select which zone(s) to water manually.
5. Drücken OK/MANUELL to start manual watering. The timer will automatically stop after the set duration.

6. Wartung

6.1 Batteriewechsel

When the low power indicator flashes on the display, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 4.1. Prompt battery replacement prevents the valves from closing unexpectedly and interrupting watering schedules.

6.2 Reinigung

Periodically check the water inlet filter for debris. Remove and rinse the filter under running water if it appears clogged. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on the timer.

6.3 Überwinterung

Before the first frost, remove the timer from the faucet. Drain any remaining water from the unit and store it in a dry, frost-free location indoors. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.

  • Ensure only one zone valve is scheduled to open at a time.
• Anzeige funktioniert nicht:
  • Ersetzen Sie die Batterien durch neue AA-Alkalibatterien.
