All Dux water heaters must be installed by a licensed tradesperson in accordance with local plumbing and electrical codes (such as AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 5601.1). Attempting to install it yourself may void the warranty and cause safety hazards.
The Pressure & Temperature Relief (PTR) Valve should be operated gently at least once every six months to remove lime deposits and verify it is not blocked. Failure to do so may result in tank failure or explosion.
If there is continuous leakage from the PTR valve or the tank itself, turn off the water heater immediately and contact Dux After Sales and Service or a licensed plumber. Minor dripping from the relief valve during heating cycles is normal.
