1. Einleitung

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new Diesel Generator Set. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the generator to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.

2. Sicherheitshinweise

Always follow these safety precautions to prevent serious injury or death.

• Kohlenmonoxidgefahr: Generatoren erzeugen Kohlenmonoxid, ein farbloses, geruchloses und giftiges Gas. Betreiben Sie den Generator im Freien an einem gut belüfteten Ort, fernab von Fenstern, Türen und Lüftungsöffnungen.
• Stromschlaggefahr: Never operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all electrical connections are secure and properly grounded.
• Brandgefahr: Fuel is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke near the generator.
• Heiße Oberflächen: Der Generatormotor und der Schalldämpfer werden während des Betriebs sehr heiß und bleiben auch nach dem Abschalten noch eine Weile heiß. Vermeiden Sie es, heiße Oberflächen zu berühren.
• Handbuch lesen: Lesen und verstehen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme des Generators stets die gesamte Bedienungsanleitung.
• Kinder und Haustiere: Halten Sie Kinder und Haustiere vom Generator fern, insbesondere während des Betriebs.

3. Einrichtung

3.1 Auspacken und Zusammenbau

1. Nehmen Sie den Generator vorsichtig aus der Verpackung.
2. Inspect for any shipping damage. Contact your dealer immediately if damage is found.
3. Attach the wheels and handles (if not pre-assembled) according to the included hardware and instructions.
4. Position the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors, away from any combustible materials and at least 10 feet from any building openings.

3.2 Kraftstoff- und Ölbefüllung

1. Motoröl: Ensure the engine is off and cool. Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick. Add the recommended diesel engine oil (refer to specifications for type and capacity) until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
2. Dieselkraftstoff: Ensure the engine is off and cool. Open the fuel tank cap. Carefully fill the fuel tank with clean, fresh diesel fuel. Do not overfill; leave some space for expansion. Securely close the fuel tank cap.

3.3 Erste Kontrollen

• Check all fluid levels (oil, fuel).
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Luftfilter sauber und ordnungsgemäß installiert ist.
• Verify all electrical connections are tight.
• Confirm the generator is properly grounded.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

4.1 Starten des Generators

1. Ensure all connected appliances are turned off or unplugged from the generator outlets.
2. Drehen Sie den Kraftstoffhahn in die Position „EIN“.
3. Set the engine switch to 'ON' or 'START'.
4. If equipped with a manual start, pull the recoil starter handle firmly until the engine starts. If electric start, turn the key or press the start button.
5. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting loads.

4.2 Anschluss elektrischer Lasten

1. Plug in the appliances or extension cords to the appropriate generator outlets (220V AC or 380V AC, and 12V DC).
2. Turn on the appliances one by one, starting with the largest load.
3. Do not overload the generator. Monitor the voltmeter on the control panel.

4.3 Generator stoppen

1. Schalten Sie alle angeschlossenen elektrischen Verbraucher aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker.
2. Lassen Sie den Generator einige Minuten ohne Last laufen, damit er abkühlen kann.
3. Turn the engine switch to 'OFF'.
4. Drehen Sie den Kraftstoffhahn in die Position „AUS“.

4.4 Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Operation (Optional)

If your generator is equipped with an optional ATS module, it provides automatic power management.

• When grid power fails, the ATS will detect the outage and automatically start the generator.
• Once the generator is running and stable, the ATS will transfer the electrical load to the generator.
• When grid power is restored, the ATS will transfer the load back to grid power and automatically shut down the generator after a cool-down period.
• Consult the separate ATS manual for detailed installation and programming instructions.

5. Wartung
