- Platzierung: Place the coffee maker on a dry, stable, and level surface, away from water sources and heat.
- Erster Brühvorgang (Reinigung):
- Fill the water tank with cold, fresh water up to the 5-cup mark.
- Place the empty filter holder into its position.
- Place the insulated pot with its lid closed on the warming plate.

- Press the power switch to start a brewing cycle with only water.
- Once the cycle is complete, discard the water from the pot. This cleans the internal components.
Bedienungsanleitung

Entkalkung
Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting performance and coffee taste. Descale your coffee maker regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 1-3 months).
- Entkalkungslösung vorbereiten: Use a commercial coffee maker descaling solution or a mixture of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water). Follow the descaling product's instructions for concentration.
- Entkalkungszyklus ausführen: Pour the descaling solution into the water tank. Place the empty pot on the base. Run a brewing cycle as if making coffee, but without coffee grounds.
- Spülzyklen: After the descaling cycle, discard the solution. Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and run at least two full brewing cycles with only water to thoroughly rinse the system.
- Sauberer Topf: Wash the insulated pot and lid thoroughly after descaling.
