- Ensure your camera is turned off before attaching or detaching any lens.
- Entfernen Sie den hinteren Objektivdeckel vom Sigma-Objektiv und den Gehäusedeckel von Ihrer Kamera.
- Align the mounting index (usually a red or white dot) on the lens barrel with the corresponding index on your camera's lens mount.
- Insert the lens into the camera mount and rotate it clockwise (for Canon EF mount) until it clicks securely into place. Do not force the lens.
- Replace the front lens cap when the lens is not in use to protect the front element.
3.2 Abnehmen der Linse
- Schalten Sie Ihre Kamera aus.
- While pressing the lens release button on your camera body, rotate the lens counter-clockwise until it detaches.
- Immediately attach the rear lens cap to the lens and the body cap to your camera to protect the internal components from dust and damage.

4. Bedienungsanleitung
4.1 Zoomen
To adjust the focal length, rotate the zoom ring located on the lens barrel. The lens covers a range from 70mm (wide-angle telephoto) to 300mm (super telephoto). Rotate towards 300mm to magnify distant subjects and towards 70mm to widen your field of view.
4.2 Fokussierung
The lens supports both autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF).
- Autofokus (AF): Set the AF/MF switch on the lens barrel to 'AF'. The camera will automatically focus on your subject when the shutter button is half-pressed.
- Manueller Fokus (MF): Set the AF/MF switch on the lens barrel to 'MF'. Rotate the focus ring on the lens barrel until your subject appears sharp in the viewim Sucher oder auf dem LCD-Bildschirm der Kamera.
4.3 Makrofotografie
This lens features a dedicated macro mode for close-up photography. To engage macro mode:
- Set the focal length between 200mm and 300mm.
- Locate the 'MACRO' switch on the lens barrel. Slide this switch to the 'MACRO' position.
- In macro mode, the lens can achieve a maximum close-up magnification of 1:2 at 300mm. The minimum focusing distance remains 59 inches (1.5 meters), but the magnification changes based on the focal length within the 200-300mm range.
- To exit macro mode, slide the switch back to the normal position. Ensure the focus ring is not at its extreme macro extension before switching back.
4.4 Aperture Settings
The lens has a variable aperture of f/4-5.6, meaning the maximum aperture changes with the focal length (f/4 at 70mm, f/5.6 at 300mm). The camera will automatically adjust the aperture based on your selected shooting mode (e.g., Aperture Priority, Program, Manual).
5. Wartung
5.1 Reinigung der Linse
- Linsenelemente: Use a lens blower brush to remove dust and loose particles. For smudges or fingerprints, use a clean, soft microfiber lens cloth and a small amount of lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optical surfaces. Apply solution to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
- Objektivgehäuse: Wipe the lens barrel with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Vermeiden Sie es, die Glaselemente mit den Fingern zu berühren.
5.2 Speicherung
- Always attach the front and rear lens caps when storing the lens.
6. Fehlerbehebung
| Problem | Mögliche Ursache | Lösung |
|---|---|---|
| Autofocus is slow or hunts excessively. | Low light conditions, low contrast subject, camera settings, or lens motor characteristics. | Increase ambient light, focus on a high-contrast edge, check camera's AF mode, or switch to manual focus (MF) for precise control. |
| Images appear soft or out of focus. | Camera shake, incorrect focus, dirty lens elements, or shooting at wide-open aperture (f/4-5.6) at 300mm. | Use a faster shutter speed, tripod, or image stabilization (if available on camera body). Ensure proper focus. Clean lens. Try stopping down the aperture to f/6.3 or f/7.1, especially at 300mm, to improve sharpness and reduce chromatic aberration. |
| Chromatische Aberration (Farbsäume) sichtbar. | Common with telephoto lenses, especially at wide apertures and high contrast areas. | Stop down the aperture (e.g., to f/6.3 or f/7.1). Post-processing software can often correct chromatic aberration. |
| Cannot engage macro mode. | Focal length not within 200-300mm range. | Adjust the zoom ring to a focal length between 200mm and 300mm before attempting to slide the macro switch. |
