4. Komponenten und Anzeige

This image displays the Testo 810 thermometer from the front. The large digital display shows both infrared (IR) surface temperature and ambient air temperature. Below the display are three control buttons: an up arrow button, a 'Mode' button, and a power button. The infrared sensor and ambient air sensor are located at the top of the device.

This image shows the Testo 810 thermometer being held in a user's hand, emphasizing its compact and ergonomic design. This perspective highlights its portability and ease of use for single-handed operation.
4.1. Bedientasten
- Power-Taste (⏻): Schaltet das Instrument ein oder aus.
- Pfeiltaste nach oben (▲): Wird zur Navigation in Menüs oder zur Erhöhung der Anzeige verwendet.asing values (e.g., emissivity).
- Modus-Taste: Cycles through display modes (e.g., Hold, Min/Max, ∆T).
4.2. Anzeigeelemente
- IR Temperature: Main large digits, showing non-contact surface temperature.
- Lufttemperatur: Smaller digits, showing ambient air temperature.
- ∆T (Delta T): Displays the difference between IR and air temperature.
- Hold-Anzeige: Appears when the Hold function is active.
- Min/Max Indicator: Appears when displaying minimum or maximum values.
- Emissivity Setting (ε): Indicates the current emissivity value.
- Batterieanzeige: Zeigt die verbleibende Akkulaufzeit an.
5. Einrichtung
5.1. Einlegen der Batterie
The Testo 810 requires 2 AAA batteries (included).
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the instrument.
6. Bedienung
6.1. Ein-/Ausschalten
- Zum Einschalten: Drücken Sie die Taste ⏻ button. The display will illuminate and show current readings.
- Zum Ausschalten: Die Taste gedrückt halten ⏻ button until the display turns off. The instrument also features an auto-off function to conserve battery life.
6.2. Taking Measurements (IR and Ambient)
The Testo 810 simultaneously measures both surface and air temperatures.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Instrument eingeschaltet ist.
- Point the infrared sensor (at the top of the device) towards the surface you wish to measure. The 1-point laser will indicate the center of the measurement spot.
- The IR temperature will be displayed in the larger digits, while the ambient air temperature will be shown in smaller digits.
- For accurate IR readings, ensure the distance to the object is appropriate for the 6:1 optics ratio (e.g., at 6 inches distance, the measurement spot is 1 inch in diameter).
6.3. Adjusting Emissivity (ε)
Emissivity is crucial for accurate infrared temperature measurement. Different materials have different emissivity values. The Testo 810 allows adjustment from 0.10 to 1.00.
- With the instrument on, press the Modus button repeatedly until the emissivity symbol (ε) appears on the display.
- Verwenden Sie die ▲ button to adjust the emissivity value. Refer to standard emissivity tables for common materials.
- Drücken Sie die Modus button again to confirm the setting and return to measurement mode.
6.4. Hold and Min/Max Functions
- Hold-Funktion: Drücken Sie während der Messung kurz die Taste Modus button. The current readings will be frozen on the display, indicated by a 'Hold' symbol. Press Modus again to resume live measurement.
- Minimal-/Maximalwerte: Drücken Sie im Messmodus die Modus button repeatedly to cycle through the minimum (Min) and maximum (Max) recorded temperatures for both IR and air. The display will show 'Min' or 'Max' accordingly.
- Delta T (∆T): Drücken Sie weiter die Modus Taste, um view the temperature difference between the IR surface and ambient air.
7. Wartung
7.1. Reinigung
To ensure accurate readings and prolong the life of your instrument:
- Wipe the instrument casing mit Adamp Tuch. Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden.
- Carefully clean the infrared lens with a soft, lint-free cloth or a lens cleaning wipe. Avoid touching the lens directly with fingers.
7.2. Batteriewechsel
When the battery indicator shows low power, replace the batteries as described in Section 5.1. Always use fresh AAA alkaline batteries.
7.3. Speicherung
When not in use, store the Testo 810 in its protective cap in a dry, dust-free environment within the specified operating temperature range.
8. Fehlerbehebung
If you encounter issues with your Testo 810, refer to the table below:
| Problem | Mögliche Ursache | Lösung |
|---|---|---|
| Instrument does not turn on. | Tote oder falsch eingelegte Batterien. | Überprüfen Sie die Batteriepolarität oder ersetzen Sie die Batterien. |
